Viaje a la Colonia Tovar (Esp-Eng)
Hola hola mis amigos de Hive, un gusto saludarles espero que se encuentren súper bien, nuevamente estoy con ustedes, esta vez para contarles un viaje que hice a la Colonia Tovar, Venezuela.
Hello hello my friends from Hive, a pleasure to greet you, I hope you are super well, I am with you again, this time to tell you about a trip I made to Colonia Tovar, Venezuela.
Rápidamente les comento que la Colonia Tovar se encuentra ubicada en el Estado Aragua es capital del Municipio Tovar acá en Venezuela, fue fundada el 8 de Abril de 1843 por un grupo de alemanes que en ese entonces venían del Estado de Baden. (Esto lo aprendí en uno de los Tours que ofrece este fantástico lugar)
Quickly I tell you that Colonia Tovar is located in the State of Aragua, it is the capital of the Tovar Municipality here in Venezuela, it was founded on April 8, 1843 by a group of Germans who at that time came from the State of Baden. (I learned this in one of the tours offered by this fantastic place).
Una de las características que más pude observar en mi viaje fue que la esencia Alemana está en todo el lugar desde la comida, cultura, tradiciones las casas o Chalet muchas de las personas que allí habitan la llaman la pequeña Alemania, y es que todo se presta para hacer de este lugar un paraíso.
One of the characteristics that I could observe during my trip was that the German essence is all over the place, from the food, culture, traditions, the houses or Chalet, many of the people who live there call it the little Germany, and it is that everything lends itself to make this place a paradise.
Hablemos sobre el clima, en la temporada en la que fui (Octubre) hacía mucho frío sin embargo no era ese frío abrasivo sino Súper agradable y fresco hacen que tu transitar sea bastante relajado fui en una temporada alta de turistas estaba full, el comercio en el lugar era bastante notable, fue muy hermosos ver como todos traían sus mercancías para ofrecerlas al público desde exuberantes frutas, coloridas hortalizas encontraras de todo tipo zanahoria, remolacha gigantes repollo, duraznos Súper jugosos y dulces, fresas, coliflor lechugas, papas, todo tipo de dulces típicos de la región en lo personal el que más me sorprendió fue el dulce de Limón, artesanía, platos típicos hermosas flores y el popular Fresas con Crema la verdad desde que pise este lugar no pare de comerlas.
Let's talk about the weather, in the season in which I went (October) was very cold, however it was not that scorching cold but Super nice and cool make your transit quite relaxed I went in a high season of tourists was full, trade in the place was quite remarkable, it was very beautiful to see how everyone brought their goods to offer them to the public from lush fruits, colorful vegetables you will find all kinds of carrots, giant beets, cabbage, super juicy and sweet peaches, strawberries, cauliflower, lettuce, potatoes, all kinds of sweets typical of the region, personally the one that surprised me most was the lemon candy, handicrafts, typical dishes, beautiful flowers and the popular Strawberries with Cream, the truth since I stepped in this place I did not stop eating them.
En la Colonia encontrarás varios sitios que ofrecen Tours a los Turistas, yo quise aventurar y elegí un Rustic para conocer el Lugar.
Su primera parada fue la primera casita donde vivían los fundadores del lugar, allí hablaron un poco de la historia de la región luego nos dirigimos hacia la fábrica artesanal de vinos uuuff cabe decir que son una maravilla ofrecen vinos de Mora, fresa, parchita, melocotón, dulce de Leche, licor de chocolate los probé todos jajaja y mi uno de mis favoritos fue el de melocotón un sabor dulce más no empalagoso y con una gran tonalidad de licor.
In Colonia you will find several places that offer tours to tourists, I wanted to venture and chose a Rustic to know the place.
The first stop was the first little house where the founders of the place lived, there they talked a little about the history of the region then we went to the artisan wine factory uuuff I must say that they are wonderful, they offer wines of blackberry, strawberry, parchita, peach, dulce de Leche, chocolate liqueur I tried them all hahaha and my one of my favorites was the peach a sweet taste but not cloying and with a great shade of liquor
Seguimos el recorrido esta vez a la casa de embutidos, cabe destacar que la Colonia Tovar se caracteriza por ser una región en la que se ofrece mucho embutido y acá podemos encontrar en la popular Salchicha alemana, en este sitio se fabrico la salchicha más grande teniendo un peso de (498 kg y midió 15metros) nos dieron una degustación fue un mix de salchichas tenían la alemana, polaca y tradicional fueron asadas y se les acompañó con una salsa de curry muy peculiar ya que es preparada artesanalmente y de verdad les digo que esa combinación fue algo explosivo a mi paladar muy rico un sabor para nada invasivo y que acompaña muy bien estos ricos embutidos.
We continued the tour this time to the sausage house, it is noteworthy that the Colonia Tovar is characterized as a region that offers a lot of sausage and here we can find the popular German sausage, this site was manufactured in the largest sausage having a weight of (498 kg and measured 15 meters) we were given a tasting was a mix of sausages had the German, Polish and traditional were roasted and grilled, Polish and traditional were grilled and were accompanied with a very peculiar curry sauce since it is prepared by hand and really I tell you that this combination was something explosive to my palate very rich and not at all invasive flavor that goes very well with these rich sausages.
Seguimos el viaje esta vez llegamos a la Casa del chocolate allí inician con una breve historia del chocolate luego pasamos a la casa de ventas que es un lugar bastante pequeño encontrarás detalles realizados en chocolate de todo tipo si eres amante del chocolate seguro te va a encantar como a mi esposa fue un paraíso para ella. yo por mi parte no es algo que me apasione mas si compre un chocolate caliente para quitar un poco el frío y la verdad es no tiene comparación la suavidad y sedosidad del chocolate eran de otro mundo quede enamorado de ese chocolate caliente muy muy delicioso.
We continued our trip this time we arrived at the Casa del chocolate where they start with a brief history of chocolate then we went to the sales house which is a fairly small place where you will find details made in chocolate of all kinds if you are a chocolate lover you will surely love it like my wife it was a paradise for her. I for my part is not something that I am passionate about but if you buy a hot chocolate to take a little cold and the truth is no comparison the softness and silkiness of chocolate were out of this world I fell in love with that hot chocolate very very delicious.
Luego de allí fuimos al jardín de Gardenias un lugar muy lindo con vistas del lugar muy hermosas flores muy deslumbrantes con diferentes tonalidades hacen que el lugar se destaque, un ambiente bastante relajado y tranquilo allí aprovechamos de sacar varias fotos.
After there we went to the Gardenia garden a very nice place with views of the place very beautiful flowers very dazzling with different shades make the place stand out, a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere there we took several pictures.
Y la última parada fue la fábrica de cerveza artesanal Jajaja para que contarles si ya saben el cuento jajaja se llama Cerveza Tovar nos explican el proceso que lleva realizar esta bebida su historia y la parte importante la degustación jaja una bebida bastante espumosa un tanto agria sin embargo de sabor agradable.
And the last stop was the craft brewery hahaha why tell them if you already know the story hahaha is called Cerveza Tovar explain us the process that leads to make this drink its history and the important part tasting haha a pretty frothy drink somewhat sour but pleasant taste.
Y allí termina el tour, por nuestra parte nos dedicamos a explorar el lugar de punta a punta visitamos varios restaurantes comimos el plato típico alemán tuvo un costo aproximado de 10$ comimos mi esposa y yo una plato bastante variado tiene varios tipos de salchicha, chuleta ahumada y carne acompañada de una rasión de ensalada rayada que tiene repollo, zanahoria tomate y mayonesa.
And there ends the tour, for our part we explore the place from end to end we visited several restaurants we ate the typical German dish had an approximate cost of 10$ my wife and I ate a quite varied dish has several types of sausage, smoked sausage and meat accompanied by a striped salad rasión that has cabbage, carrot, tomato and mayonnaise.
Nuestra posada se llama Baden Baden una cómoda habitación muy Cálida y acogedora tuvo un costo aproximado de 8$ por noche.
Our inn is called Baden Baden a comfortable room very warm and cozy had an approximate cost of $ 8 per night.
Esta este lugar muy emblemático para la ciudad, La Iglesia allí puedes disfrutar de sus alrededores, nosotros nos sentamos a ver caer la tarde disfrutar de la niebla como se posa sobre los techos rojos del lugar mientras degustábamos ella de una manzana acaramelada y yo de unas fresas con crema.
Es un lugar en el que encontrarás muuuucha variedad, encontrarás ambientes muy agradables, personas muy serviciales y de gran carisma, un lugar que vale la pena visitar de mi hermosa Venezuela.
This is a very emblematic place for the city, La Iglesia, there you can enjoy the surroundings, we sat down to watch the afternoon fall and enjoy the fog as it settles on the red roofs of the place while she tasted a caramel apple and I tasted some strawberries with cream.
It is a place where you will find a lot of variety, you will find very pleasant environments, very helpful and charismatic people, a place worth visiting in my beautiful Venezuela.

Ayyy la Colonia Tovar, siempre he querido ir y he estado tan pero tan cerca jeje. Bueno, si Dios me lo permite iré, pues me gusta como se ve el clima, las casa tipo colonial y sobre todo la comida jajaja.
