Part 1: Makeover of My Dream Walk-in Closet
My own walk-in closet has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager, and now that I’m 38, my dream has finally come true! My husband and I decided to buy a new house, and I just requested him to allow me to have a walk-in closet. He consented, but only on the condition that he share his closet with me. I finally had the chance to plan and design my walk-in closet after a year of house construction. I contacted three contractors to complete the cabinet work, but they all quoted me prices I couldn’t afford, so I had to make a difficult choice. I was on the verge of giving up on getting a customized cabinet because it was too pricey. Just by chance, my former college student got in touch with me and volunteered to build my walk-in closet for a fraction of what the contractors wanted for me. He just gave the labor prices; I was free to choose and purchase all necessary materials. I, therefore, accepted the offer without hesitation and started building all of my cabinets.
This blog has all the information including cabinet measurements. The materials used were all Marine Melamine Plywood. ¾” in size. The labor cost was Php 20.000.00, and they allocated 5 days to make and put the cabinets together. Additionally, I paid Php 2,000.00 for the painting services. Included in the materials’ overall cost was the delivery fee, which came to a total of Php 34,000.00.
I still need to purchase some storage boxes, so I haven’t decided how to arrange our clothes. The large cabinet contains my belongings, whereas the small cabinet belongs to my husband. He did not challenge it because he is aware that I am carrying quite a few clothes. I still need to declutter, perhaps as soon as possible, but for the time being I only had to tidy this walk-in closet.
How much do you anticipate my customized closet will cost? Do you think the cost was reasonable? Please share your ideas with me regarding how I should organize my belongings. Follow me here, so you’ll get updated on my part 2 series of this walk-in closet makeover.

They look like great furniture for a home to me. I think they are also cheap or am I wrong?
Wow! This is one of the best closets I've seen. Hopefully, I can also make some make-over like that soon.
