A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, on this beautiful weekend, I am pleased to participate in the Animal Print initiative of this great community. When I read the post of the initiative for the first time, I was convinced that I would represent the snake, but as the days went by and my idea matured, I definitely wanted to make a reptile, but something extraordinary, then I remembered Mystique from the X-men, her scaly skin that allows her to take the shape she wants, just like a chameleon. So I started to investigate and there is in the Gorgona Island, in Colombia, a blue colored lizard. It is a pleasure for me to participate this week, wearing the skin of this beautiful little blue lizard, I hope you enjoy the step by step that I will leave below.

I like to always put on moisturizer before I start, so the skin doesn't get irritated by the paint or makeup. On moisturized skin, with a sponge, apply the blue paint, shading with black and white.

When I had the blue base ready, I started to make the details of the scales, some with black eyeliner and others with cold paint, I used the cap of a marker to make the perfect circles, and a straw for the smaller scales.

Using a toothpick apply white paint on each circle to simulate the lights. With the lights ready, fill in the gaps between each scale with black eyeliner.

To finish, I lined my eyes with black, and did the highlights and shadow details on my lips.

This was the result, I am very pleased, as always I enjoyed it very much. Until next time dear friends.
