Hello, PoB community!

Greetings, today I come with a story of a past friend, someone I met on the life I had long ago when I was lost and I dint knew it until I hit rock bottom, back in the day he knew it and told me but I wouldn't listen to his wisdom. Today I remembered him on an accident and decided to honor his wisdom and words with this post.

Robert and the reminencense of love

Sometimes life is great, he said a lot those words and he always added: Everything goes so good that you might not see the world as it is, when he was just 22 he married a wonderful woman, he found a place for his talents to grow and became a fine businessman, one of the very best I ever met, you could sell salt to a salt miner I used to joke when I met him, he was 40 and I was 19 years old.

At some random point in his life he learned a level of charisma that I only can envy now, as a blogger he would have been great, one of the very best, but he is a trading expert, a businessman, he founded several know national enterprises, he was a big man that went to a public college for no other reason than therapy.

You see, Robert has one detail I omitted in the small bio of his life I mentioned before, he did marry one hell of a woman, one of those that are told on legends, and they had two beautiful twin girls...

Yet tragedy strikes when you fail to see the world as it is, he said on several occasions, as a father of one, I can finally understand what he told me so long ago, every warning, every cautious word.

Both his wife and their children died in a car crash when he was 38, he took one year off his work, and travel the whole country as his friends told him.

Then he decided to study the career he always wanted but dint because he discovered his talents as a trader, he studied with me and many others at the public college of Zulia(La Universidad del Zulia) a province of Venezuela.

Back then when I met him, he decided to do so because it was his childhood dream, as he had money to spare, he had no one to care for and free time on his hands. He went day after day to learn what he wanted right next to me and generated a different group of friends each semester, he tried to teach us about life, faith, marriage, children, and above all, Love.

The hardest part was that he always seemed happy, full of love and joy to be alive and help others, he spared no money to buy one of his classmates a cake on his birthday or maybe some food at the dinner.

But now I see, that he was just living the present to help his soul and very being, survive, he talked about his past wife and children a lot, he had his heart in the past, and his soul in the present, living both empty and full, teaching how to live a loss, how to survive.

Teaching us about life

Now in this day, I remember him while going back from the pediatrician, I looked at the window and saw how feeble a life can be, how uncertain can our very lives be, and decided to do my best about it, to see the world, life, love, and my baby girl as it is, as bundles of light and happiness.

Today, Robert words, wisdom, and light sprouted again, I lost contact with him long ago, and I wonder if he ever got a single soul to thank him for the many seeds of wisdom he planted back on college, at that time our class mates were all kids of 17 to 22, including me.

I saw the real meaning of his words almost a decade later, and I finally learned the lesson. Wherever you are, if you are in or outside of Venezuela, Robert, God bless you, bro. Besides, if you ever read these words, Robert your talent is not trading, your talent is being happy and inspiring others to do so, hope one day you notice it.

¡Hola comunidad de Proof of Brain!

Robert's story is very sad. We should not wait to suffer in order to help people. I think this is our mission on earth. We don't need a reason to do good.
