Hola queridos amigos de Hive, hoy les quiero mostrar unos Tips para no gastar tanto dinero en una reparación de Caja o Transmisión Automática de Chevrolet Cruze o Chevrolet Orlando.

Hello dear friends of Hive, today I want to show you some Tips to avoid spending so much money on a Chevrolet Cruze or Chevrolet Orlando Gearbox or Automatic Transmission repair.

Como he dicho antes, estoy acompañando a mi papá en estas vacaciones escolares en su Taller de Transmisiones Automáticas.

As I have said before, I am accompanying my father during these school holidays in his Automatic Transmission Workshop.

Primer Tip/First Tip

Lo primero es reemplazar el Kit de Sellos o Gomas que trae la Caja Automática.

The first thing is to replace the Seal or Rubber Kit that comes with the Automatic Gearbox.

Esta es una buena marca de Sellos/This is a good brand of Seals

Segundo Tip/Second Tip

Estas Pastas color naranja, es mejor eliminarlas, es decir, no montarlas, porque se desintegran y tapan el filtro, ocasionando que los discos de la caja se quemen por falta de lubricación.

It is better to remove these orange pastes, that is, not to mount them, because they disintegrate and clog the filter, causing the discs of the box to burn due to lack of lubrication.

Tercer Tip/Third Tip

Debemos Reemplazar estos cinco cervos pistones de goma, aunque el caucho esté blando se recomienda reemplazarlos porque pierden adherencia al cilindro o pared donde ellos hacen el trabajo. Muchas veces, solo con cambiar estos pistones más los sellos, se corrigen todos los códigos de falla de la Caja Automática.
Algunos técnicos incurren en el error de montar los mismos pistones porque los ven blandos, a diferencia de otras cajas donde los pistones se endurecen y hay que dejar que el vehículo caliente por un largo tiempo para que empiece a aplicar y a hacer los cambios. Por tanto los pistones del Cruze/Orlando, difícilmente endurecen en el tiempo, y como dije, ellos así blandos no aplican.

We must replace these five cervos rubber pistons, although the rubber is soft, it is recommended to replace them because they lose adhesion to the cylinder or wall where they do the work. Many times, just changing these pistons plus the seals will correct all the fault codes on the Automatic Gearbox.
Some technicians make the mistake of mounting the same pistons because they see them as soft, unlike other boxes where the pistons harden and you have to let the vehicle warm up for a long time to start applying and making the changes. Therefore, the pistons of the Cruze/Orlando hardly harden over time, and as I said, they do not apply so soft.

Cuarto Tip/Fourth Tip

Esta unidad se denomina Mecatrónica. Debemos sacar los solenoides, sopletearlos, cambiarle los Orings o Sellos, según la siguiente imagen que los muestra en colores:

This unit is called Mechatronics. We must remove the solenoids, blowtorch them, change the Orings or Seals, according to the following image that shows them in colors:

Debemos limpiar el Cuerpo de Válvulas, y verificar que las Válvulas no estén atascadas.

We must clean the Valve Body, and verify that the Valves are not stuck.

Finalmente debemos reemplazar el siguiente filtro según la imagen, en razón que con el calor, se parten y se comunican las presiones generando códigos de error.

Finally, we must replace the following filter according to the image, because with the heat, the pressures are split and communicated, generating error codes.

Comentario Final/Final Comment

En estos Tips que presento, no describo cómo reparar esta Caja, pues, en la Red existen muchos tutores que nos ilustran cómo reparar una Caja Automática de este tipo.
Sencillamente, mediante estos Tips oriento al cliente a dejar claro que si reemplazamos los sellos, los pistones de goma, tendremos una alta y elevada probabilidad de que la Caja Automática vaya a funcionar en perfecto orden.
Nosotros estamos ubicados en San Cristóbal/Táchira en Venezuela, y la firma comercial se denomina: Hidromáticos Chavarro.
