Friedrich Nietzche is perhaps the most controversial philosopher in the history of philosophy, not only for having proclaimed the death of God, but for his bold and daring thinking that had profound approaches, such as the one I discuss in this post about the super-man.

In the first place, it is not about the proposal of any special super-power or super-human type Marvel TV series, nor is it about the annihilation of the human being as we know it, although this direction has taken some radical interpretations.

To understand this phrase we must place ourselves in the general philosophical system that encompasses Nietzche's thought, and remember that he proposes the transmutation of values and the passage of three stages of metaphorical evolution for the human being: camel, because he carries the imposed burdens, lion when he reveals himself and child when he totally takes the reins of his life.

With this we can conclude then that this super-man is in constant construction and that it consists of conquering an authentic freedom that leads us to empower ourselves of our destiny and a change of paradigm with respect to a static conception of the human being and its replacement by a dynamic vision of human life.

This dynamism he expresses with the thought that gives title to this post: "Man is a being not yet determined ", and this is the reason why we can rescue a valid sense to his proposal of the super-man since we can always be more than what we have been told so far.

This has many applications, in particular, now I think that this is the engine of life, in fact, if we think and believe that we are already defined, well, there is simply nothing to do, instead, when we conceive ourselves as beings in constant change we always have the possibility to get the best we have.

Certainly we can also involute, that is, instead of advancing we go backwards, but this is the challenge of life and, for this reason, it is good for us to reflect on this type of thoughts that even in the midst of their diverse interpretations always hide an important truth, otherwise they would not survive in time.
