[Eng-Esp] Life is like the sea
Yesterday I had a wonderful family trip to the beach, and it was great not only for the fact of being able to share with the people we love, but also for the wonderful scenery that accompanied us.
So, in addition to enjoying the day, the atmosphere was also very conducive to some reflections, which I am about to share.
- The world is beautiful, sometimes we human beings are the ones who damage it. Hence, learning to give it that value and enjoy nature in its diversity is one of the most essential life missions we have, because the world in its globality is the common home of humanity.
- The waves of the sea are an image of the changes in life, because, just as when we arrived at the beach the waves were calmer and as the hours passed they began to grow, the dynamism of life behaves the same way, sometimes we can be calm and others with a little turbulence, which also has its levels and sizes.
In this regard there is a very important life lesson and it is that in times of high tide (following the metaphor) we should avoid making fundamental decisions, it is preferable to wait until the tide goes down and the waves are calmer to better reflect on things and take the right steps.
- Life is an instant, as well as the footprints we leave in the sand and the water erases them, that is why I have learned not to magnify failures or successes, because they are only a footprint in the vast sand of life.
