Mis experiencias con el maquillaje [ESP/ENG]

Hola linda comunidad de MakeUp Power, hoy quiero presentarme en esta comunidad ya que como todas ustedes soy fanática de este mundo del maquillaje.
Debo confesar que antes veía el maquillaje como algo innecesario, o sea, si lo usaba pero limitado siempre a lo básico, la base, el polvo un brillo labial y ya, con eso me sentía cómoda, pero en esta pandemia he estado muy intranquila y con ganas de aprender de todo un poco, cocina, repostería, primeros auxilios y maquillaje, hasta que un día en redes sociales hizo de las suyas ¿No les pasa que están pensando en algo y luego les aparece una publicidad en las redes? Porque a mí me pasa muy seguido, (he llegado a creer que mi teléfono me lee la mente) jaja, así fue en esta oportunidad, me apareció una publicidad de un curso de epilación y diseño de cejas y colocación de pestañas, como era en un lugar cercano y con un horario cómodo decidí hacerlo.
Fue aquí donde inicio mi amor por este arte, porque sí, el maquillaje tiene todas las cualidades para ser considerado un arte. El curso fue bastante dinámico, éramos solo 4 y cada una sería la modelo de la otra, eso me puso súper nerviosa, jamás había ni maquillado unas cejas y me daba miedo hacer un desastre pero me tocó diseñar y epilar las cejas de una de mis compañeras así como también colocarle pestañas por punto, la instructora diseño y epilo la ceja derecha para así darme una guía, intenté seguír los pasos al pie de la letra aunque las manos me temblaban jaja respire y lo hice lo mejor que pude, la verdad me quedo super bien sobre todo para ser la primera vez, al culminar este curso me di cuenta del cambio radical que añaden a nuestro rostro un buen diseño de cejas y unas pestañas largas o moderadas.
Cuando fue el turno de mi compañera también me dio nervios ya que alguien sin experiencia me atendería, pero ella confío en mi y yo en ella, la verdad cuando me dijeron que seríamos nuestras propias modelos estuve a punto de salir corriendo porque todas éramos inexpertas pero conocer las técnicas y tips que nos dictaron en el curso nos dio la confianza necesaria para realizar un maravilloso trabajo.
Al llegar a casa con el pasar de los días decidí comprar mis materiales y comencé a practicar y practicar.. Practicaba el diseño de cejas con un lápiz de maquillaje blanco y una pomada de cejas para rellenar, poco a poco fui perfeccionando la técnica y hoy considero que lo hago bastante bien.
Después quería aprender más y más de este mundo, un día fui a la peluquería a realizarme una hidratación en el cabello y escuché a la maquillista diciendo que pronto darían un curso de maquillaje, así que no lo dudé y me inscribí inmediatamente, además que era maquillaje básico, justo lo que yo estaba buscando porque obviamente tengo que empezar desde lo básico para después ir perfeccionando y aprendiendo paso a paso.
Ahora que lo conocí veo el maquillaje como un elemento que realza la belleza de la mujer, algo que nos hace sentir más seguras y empoderadas, porque sí, somos bellas al natural pero maquillarnos nos da una seguridad increíble, nos anima y nos da una comodidad que nos permite lucir más extraordinarias de lo que ya somos.
Y como dicen por ahí, la práctica hace al maestro, es por eso que verán mucho de mí proceso, esperando servirles de ejemplo y guía para todas aquellas que también están aprendiendo como yo. En el siguiente collage les muestro como me maquillaba antes de entrar a este mundo vs como me maquillo ahora.

Hello beautiful community of MakeUp Power, today I want to introduce myself in this community because like all of you I am a fan of this world of makeup.
I must confess that before I saw makeup as something necessary, that is, if I used it but always limited to the basics, foundation, powder, lip gloss and that’s it, I felt comfortable with that, but in this pandemic I have been very uneasy and wanting to learn a little bit of everything, cooking, baking, first aid and makeup, until one day she did her thing on social networks.
Doesn’t it happen to you that you are thinking about something and then an advertisement appears on the networks? Because it happens to me very often, (I’ve come to believe that my phone reads my mind) haha, that’s how it was on this occasion, an advertisement appeared for a course on hair removal and design of eyebrows and placement of eyelashes, as it was in a nearby place and with a comfortable schedule decided to do it.
It was here that my love for this art began, because yes, makeup has all the qualities to be considered an art. The course was quite dynamic, there were only 4 of us and each one would be the model for the other, that made me super nervous, I had never even done makeup on eyebrows and I was afraid of making a mess but I had to design and pluck the eyebrows of one of my colleagues as well as place eyelashes by point, the instructor designed and epilozed the right eyebrow to give me a guide, I tried to follow the steps to the letter even though my hands were shaking haha I breathed and I did the best I could, the truth is It turned out super well, especially for the first time. At the end of this course I realized the radical change that a good eyebrow design and long or moderate eyelashes add to our face.
When it was my partner’s turn I was also nervous because someone with no experience would attend to me, but she trusted me and I trusted her, the truth is when they told me that we would be our own models I was about to run away because we were all inexperienced but Knowing the techniques and tips that were taught to us in the course gave us the necessary confidence to do a wonderful job.
When I got home with the passing of the days I decided to buy my materials and I began to practice and practice. I practiced the eyebrow design with a white makeup pencil and an eyebrow pomade to fill in, little by little I perfected the technique and today I think I do quite well. Then I wanted to learn more and more about this world, one day I went to the hairdresser to get my hair hydrated and I heard the makeup artist saying that she would soon give a makeup course, so I didn’t hesitate and signed up immediately, besides it was basic makeup, just what I was looking for because obviously I have to start from the basics and then perfect and learn step by step.
Now that I met him, I see makeup as an element that enhances the beauty of women, something that makes us feel more confident and empowered, because yes, we are naturally beautiful, but putting on makeup gives us incredible security, encourages us and gives us comfort. That allows us to look more extraordinary than we already are.
And as they say out there, practice makes perfect, that is why you will see a lot of my process, hoping to serve as an example and guide for all those who are also learning like me. In the following collage I show you how I used my makeup before entering this world vs how I do my makeup now.
