Let peace fill the spaces

A gentle fog of purity and peace, descends upon my spirit
As I prepare to close my eyes in rest and contemplation.
I always try to leave my stress out of the bedroom, alas
I do not always succeed. The ‘biblical’ admonition to
“Don’t let the sun go down on your anger” really
Was meant to apply to husband and wife, to
Friends/family; when you are alone, it can
Still apply. Take my advice, turn off your
Phone, leave the computer outside,
Along with your Job, your anger,
Your stress and the conflicts
They engender. Let the
Peace inside you fill
The spaces left
Behind.
