"Homemade" (sort of) Pizza, I knocked it outta the park again.

Greeting all ye foodies and #foodfightfriday folks, it has been a while, since I last posted here in the Beehive.
I went to Ollie's earlier today

I Went specifically to get a solar powered motion light for the one side of my house that is a blind spot, more or less

Taken with the old camera on that side just a few moments ago

While there, of course I got a bunch of other stuff, spur of the moment, standing in the check out line, I got a Boboli Pizza crust.

As has happened several times of late, whether serendipity or synchronicity, on one of the cooking shows I was watching this afternoon was.... you guessed it, how to make Pizza.
(Next time I will try for the crust and dough as well.)
I had the "fresh" Mozzarella cheese (a previous spur of the moment buy) in my fridge.

Sorry for the blur

I looked up how to cut it for Pizza, so that is why you don't see the package it was in

So, going with what I heard, making do with what I had on hand, I started.
Cheap store brand tomato sauce

image.png
To which I added some fresh (but frozen)Basil, (again based on the cooking show) bacon fat, for the fat content, S&P. and sugar. I let that simmer while I defrosted:

Frozen ground beef, left over from last spring and the excess of School Lunch programs.
The package of pizza crust said to brush the crush with EEVO or tomato sauce, so I did both.
Then once I had the other ingredients cut up, first went the sauce, then the meat (sorry, didn't think about photos until after the fact)
I added the sauce, then the meat, then

Onions and Garlic (I steamed the garlic in the microwave)

20211204_171541.jpg

Jalapenos and almost that whole jar of Pepperoncini,
I had some grated extra sharp cheddar, and once that was added

20211204_171523.jpg
As per the instructions on cutting up the Moz, I put this in the oven to get the cooking started, The rationale was the Mozzarella would melt and possibly burn if put in from the start.
After about 10 minutes

I took it out, added the Mozzarella, sprinkled the freshly grated Parmegiano Reggiano

And VIOLA! The finished product

It was a bit hotter (pepper hot) than I'd expected, but

Hit Were Good!

I didn't eat all of that on my plate, it was too filling. Mo fo latuh.

That looks yummy !

When my Mom changed her mind about the entree she was going to make for our Thanksgiving supper for the third time, I teased her that I was bringing what I last committed too, even if she changed her mind again and chose homemade pizza. Since I said that, I have been hungry for some ! LOL !
