I have become a sour old man
Me he convertido en un viejo agrio.
I'd lost my sense of fun
Perdí mi sentido de la diversión
Then I went to visit the neighbors
Luego fui a visitar a los vecinos.
I went, and played the fool with a child. I made a fool of myself, and it was fun. Why do we lose sight of this as we grow older? I looked terribly silly, this fat old man getting into a toy electric car with a 5 yr old child. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Fui y me volví un tonto con un niño. Hice el ridículo y fue divertido.

¿Por qué perdemos de vista esto cuando envejecemos?
Parecía terriblemente tonto, este anciano gordo subiéndose a un auto eléctrico de juguete con un niño de 5 años.
Lo haría de nuevo en un santiamén.

My prayer:

Lord, let me never lose sight of being a child at heart.
Let me carry that joy day by day, and let me never be afraid to share it.
Let me help to lighten the burdens of those around me.

Jesus said to them,
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

It was FUN, but also painful, that thing wasn't made for someone as hefty as me, and I had to WEDGE myself into place. my door wouldn't stay closed ha ha ha

My neighbor, the grand ma said "It's a good thing we didn't have these things when I was little, I'da been gone all the time" 😜
