It a Monday morning hivers..their is alot of situation happening recently in Nigeria which our government never make any move towards the betterment.As Africa’s most populous country, largest economy and most notable democracy, Nigeria is a bellwether for the continent. A weakening economy, rising insecurity and violent conflicts threaten progress made in its democratic development. Amid deepening distrust in government and institutions, Nigeria has significant work to do in improving national, state and local security and governance ahead of national and state elections in 2023.

The World Bank has said Nigeria’s economy is projected to grow by2.4 per cent in 2021.This is an increase in the bank’s earlier growth projection of 1.8 per cent made in January this year this year.The bank made this disclosure on Wednesday in the new edition of its Africa’s Pulse report titled Climate change adaption and economic transformation in Sub-Saharan AfricaAccording to the report, the projected growth in Nigeria is driven by growth in the service sectors of the economy.With multiple cities boasting populations exceeding one million, it's no wonder that Nigeria is one of the most populous countries in the world. Its biggest city, Lagos, contributes 9 million residents to the total population, while there are also 79 cities with a minimum population of 100,000 and 249 cities with populations that surpass 10,000. Nigeria has a total of 36 states, and 774 Local Government Areas that are spread across the 39th most populous country in the world.. Many natives are moving into urbanized, developed areas to take advantage of job opportunities and to avoid a life of poverty found in many of the smaller cities and villages in the country.Nigeria has 7 cities with more than a million people, 80 cities with between 100,000 and 1 million people, and 248 cities with between 10,000 and 100,000 people. The largest city in Nigeria is Lagos, with a population of 9,000,000 people.
