December 17, 2021--Gabriel's Message by Paul Manz

A short prelude today on the hymn "The Angel Gabriel from Heaven Came"--a tune I was completely not familiar with before today. In this prelude by Paul Manz, he breaks the hymn tune into two smaller phrases, each played by a 4' flute. The work begins with a brief introduction played on Strings 8'. A brief interlude on the strings occurs between the two phrases, and the beginning music comes back at the end. All in all, a nice little tune.
