OFFLINE GAMING: Geometry Dash

I was complaining a few posts back about how hard it is to find good offline games these days when @therealflaws suggested Geometry Dash. He said it was difficult and he sure was right. It took me a month just to clear the first level.

It actually works when offline. It works better offline because if you use the free version like me, you won't have to see annoying ads like this. Sorry, Binance. No one wants to use your services since ya'll went KYC crazy. Which exchange did you start using after Binance went to shit? I've used CoinEx a few times because they don't require KYC and accept HIVE, but they kinda suck.

Geometry Dash looks simple at first because there is only one thing to do: jump. The music is pretty cool and the gameplay is smooth, but it gets difficult quickly.

When you screw up the game starts from the beginning. It will let you play several times before one of the dreadful ads pops up, but if you're in airplane mode or offline, you'll never see any ads.

It's kinda like an auto-running Mario and a cleaner version of Flappy Bird.

You can show your status at the top to see how far you are progressing, but it's better to not do that as it will just distract you. The background will change themes and colors as you get closer to the end.

I was so happy to finally clear the first level. I would only play this whenever I found myself without internet so it wasn't like I put a lot of time into it, but it still took over a month. You'll memorize the levels and find it gets easier each time you play.

Now I'm stuck on level two. They've added a boost jump which can be dangerous if you have spikes above. Thanks for reading about Geometry Dash. It's a solid game and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.
