Pumpkin Soup Made With Love

Greetings to you my friends, welcome to my blog. Today I made soup for my guests that turned out very delicious. Here in Nigeria in my own part of southeast. We do cook pumpkin soup in occasion or anytime we have an important guests in the family. So this soup I made today is one of my children favourite.

After making this soup my husband was like how do you manage to prepare this soup that I normally eat when ever I want to occasion. He couldn't believe that I will make it very nice like that and one thing that makes me happy was that my guests really enjoyed the food and requested for more.
INGREDIENTS USED
🌳One full plate of goat meat
🌳Two cups of blended pumpkin seeds
🌳Six tablespoons of crayfish
🌳Two seasoning cubes
🌳Half cup of red oil
🌳Water for cooking
🌳One head of stock fish
🌳Some pieces of fresh pepper
🌳Three cups of ukazi leaf ( Eru)
🌳One dry fish
🌳1/2 of salt for taste
🌳One bulb of onion

PROCEDURE
In this procedure I will show how I made this recipe

Firstly I boil water and when the water boiled I used it to wash my stock fish and dry fish added some little bit of salt to remove sand and also wash my goat meat like three times with salt also and add into a pot, then add some ingredients into it and pre boil for some minutes

Then after that I used the remaining hot water and mix my blended pumpkin and set aside

Then here I check my pot the meat and the fish has boil very well so I added water and red oil into it allow to cook for awhile

After that I start to prepare my ingredients by washing and cutting them and set aside

Here I soak the ukazi leaf (Eru)and wash then set aside

Then after that I check it and the red oil has been cooked very well so I add my pumpkin, crayfish seasoning cubes and other ingredients mixed everything together

Here the pot of soup is boiling I add my ukazi leaf (Eru) mix and allow to cook

My pot of soup is ready

You can eat if anything of your choice but we enjoyed the soup with Garri very nice and yummy 😋
