Getting sick when your family needs you most [Esp-Eng]
Hello dear friends, I hope you are very well, in previous posts I told you that I have been going to the hospital every day, because my newborn nephew is hospitalized due to some complications when he was born.
At times like these, you need your family to be there giving you encouragement and helping you in any way they can, because it is not an easy situation, but when you can not help because your body does not allow it, you not only feel bad physically but also emotionally.
Hola queridos amigos, espero estén muy bien, en anteriores publicaciones les comenté, que estuve yendo diariamente al hospital, pues mi sobrino recién nacido está hospitalizado por algunas complicaciones cuando nació.
En momentos como estos, se necesita a la familia, que estén ahí dándote ánimo y ayudando en todo lo que se pueda, pues no es una situación sencilla, pero cuando no puedes ayudar porque tu cuerpo no te lo permite, no sólo te sientes mal físicamente sino también emocionalmente.
Due to the covid and the age of my parents, as a family we decided that they would go to the hospital but to receive my sister and her baby at home upon arrival, this was a good decision because the central hospital, as you may know is full of covid everywhere, plus other viruses.
Whenever I was there, I took the measures, I did not touch anything at all and still every minute I cleaned myself with antibacterial gel, this protected me a little from the covid, but maybe the stress, the constant hectic or the strong emotions were so much that my stomach was affected.
Debido al covid y la edad de mis padres, como familia decidimos que ellos fueran al hospital sino que recibieran a mi hermana y su bebé en casa al llegar, esta fue una buena decisión porque el hospital central, como sabrán está lleno de covid por todas partes, además de otros virus.
Siempre que estuve ahí, tome las medidas, no tocaba nada en absoluto y aún así cada minuto me limpiaba con gel antibacterial, esto me protegió un poco del covid, pero quizá el estrés, el agetreo constante o las emociones fuertes fueron tantas que mi estómago se vio afectado.
The pain has been intense these days, and with no other option I must wait until Monday to be able to do the necessary tests, because no laboratory is working this weekend, these days I have had a high fever that has weakened me too much, to the point of having been only lying down these last days, also isolated just in case, because, the covid has so many symptoms that you do not know.
But what affects me the most is not being able to help my family, just when they need it the most, I hope I can recover soon and that it is nothing serious.
El dolor ha sido intenso estos días, y sin más opción debo esperar a que sea lunes para poder hacerme los exámenes necesarios, pues ningún laboratorio está trabajando este fin de semana, estos días he tenido mucha fiebre que me ha debilitado demasiado, al punto de haber estado solamente acostada estos últimos días, también aislada por di acaso, porque, el covid tiene tantos síntomas que no se sabe.
Pero de todo, lo que más me afecta, es el no poder ayudar a mi familia, justo cuando más lo están necesitando, espero poder recuperarme pronto y que no sea nada grave.
