Dose - New England Brewing Company

Beer Review

Dose is an 8.2% alcohol by volume Imperial/Double IPA made by New England Brewing Company in Woodbridge, Connecticut. New England Brewery Company is a small batch craft brewer that creates some tasty beers, from IPAs to Stouts alike. They quickly made a name for themselves in the Connecticut craft beer scene. Dose is a fruity beer, refreshingly tasty beer with a nice kick.

The Can

Dose is served in a pretty cool 12 ounce can. On one side of the label, a some dude is poppin' a hop nug shaped tab of acid. The other side of the can says:

"DuuUUuude! Tipping back some of this DIPA and I'm free-fallin' into a vortex of flavors. Succulent tropical tastes and aromas abound, and hey!... there's a whirlwind of citrus swirling in my mouth too. Whoa! Who would've thunk that dropping some Citra and Galaxy hops could shoot you into the flavor cosmos... or an 8.2% ABV. Oh, look! Dragons! Sweet."

The Beer

Dose had a hazy, orange color with a thin head of bubbles when poured I into a glass. It has a citrusy, tropical juice flavor thanks to the Citra and Galaxy hops. It was a refreshing, tasty beer at 8.2% alcohol content. Overall it's a nice summer DIPA treat. I look forward to trying more beers from New England Brewing Company in the future!

Weekend of beer, I like fruity beers, they are very refreshing, especially for these times when it starts to get hot.

Man i love that name, it's like something I'd call my own IPA if I made one. It looks tasty too, a really good colour to it.
