Portrait Sessions | #Monomad Challenge

avatar

Lately, I have been seeing lots of content in the community about photography, particularly with regard to portrait photography. And so I asked myself why don't I submit one as well and share it with the community. But for this time I will be submitting it as my entry to the #monomad challenge of @monochromes.

Last week we went to this beautiful island in the southern part of Cebu and we have to ride a boat to get there. While waiting for the boat to pick us up, I asked my subjects to have a photoshoot. And these are the results, check out the below photos.

The first photo is of my wife, it was actually an impromptu shot. She was actually facing the island where we are heading. Without her knowing, I already positioned the camera towards her so that once I call her she will gaze at me and have that shutter click. And I think it went well anyway.

On the other hand, one of my wife's cousins noticed me doing the impromptu photoshoot and wanted to have somehow the same photograph of my wife but she wanted it to look like a stolen shot. So I let her sit on the same bench where my wife sat and that told her to look as if she's looking from afar.

After a few snaps, everything follows, one by one they got their own portrait sessions.
