Hello there Black and White community, hope everyone is safe and doing well. For todays content, I will be sharing another entry for the #monomad challenge a daily photo contest authored by @monochromes.

Earlier today I accompanied my wife going to our neighboring town Boljoon, Cebu as she attend a few hours of court duties. And since it's just a few hours of duty, I agreed to wait for her outside the building. To keep me from being bored, I take a walk through the town's recently restored park and took snaps of random individuals and landmarks in the town. Check these photos below.

One of the town's attractions is El Gran Baluarte the largest watchtower in the town ever built, which served as a defense system against Moro raids during the early nineteenth century. Placed fronting the sea to keep an eye on intruders. After decades of service, the watchtower then turns into a belfry which now displays the bells from the Spanish era.

Another landmark you can find in the town is the Ili Rock a limestone rock mountain that stretches to the sea and has a national road built alongside. While on the top of the Ili rock is a viewing deck which as of the moment is still in development but guests can freely walk in and reach the top of the Ili rock wherein you can view the center of the town.

Both of these landmarks are just located a few meters away from the town's coastline as well as their recently renovated park. Even the historical Church of the town is located just across
their park.

As you can see in these photos, two individuals which I assumed works for the local government as the parks caretaker as they water the grasses of the park.

And since the town center is located along the coastline most likely the source of living for the locals is fishing which I've seen on these two lads rowing their fishing boat.
