Hello everyone
Hello open mic family
Glad to have been mentioned as spotlight artist for the last week's campaign and given the opportunity to suggest the theme for the 137th week I'm glad to have been given such a wonderful opportunity and I'm happy to be a member of the community even so.

The theme for this week has so much inclined with my heart's desire to sing Nigeria out to the world being in the month of October where we celebrate the nation's independence despite the fact that we're not where we ought to be, we are grateful to God and to humanity as well for the sacrifices of heroes and people who have served their land with a good heart and a pure mind such that even though we know that we have battles to still overcome we are grateful for where we are and for the people that we have.

Nigerians are known to be very hard-working, smart and intelligent people all over the world such that they have the tendency to try and be successful in all the places except within their motherland as it so appears.

Many youth and trained skilled labourers have determined in the heart to end their stay within the shores of the country to seek for greener pastures in other places and this will in turn impoverish the land of the good that it has laboured, fruits being inherited by other nations.

I'm also affected and it's sad to think that we are all going in search for greener pastures and how our nation is left to the hand of corrupt politicians and dangerous people who have proven themselves to be wicked.

It is amidst all these that we are singing her songs of peace and unity as songs of progress , songs of hope for this nation. The spirit in us is still proud to be Nigerians because we know what stuff we are made of and we know what we can offer no matter the challenges that we are faced by. And if we can do this in all the nations we can also do it in our own country as well.

If we can make our nation the forefront of our pride and position ourselves in the place where we can choose the best of minds and brains and help as leaders of this country to redirect our paths and retrace the steps then what worked for the Nations can definitely work forus as well.

As stated in this song by Nosa, in the midst of the abundance so many people are not enjoying the benefits of plenty things that are under soil but he knows that one day we will change our ways and for the future generation, Nigeria will be a better place to stay and growing and develop your business in and to have a family in.

All challenges today are mostly insecurity, corruption and bad leadership which has hindered the possibility of business growth and survival. If the people can be given certain things as steady electric power supply and good internet services good roads safe food and water reliable security and good education and healthcare services, all of these are not too hard to offer for such a nation as Nigeria and we can build this nation if we give it what it takes.

We Keep praying to God for a miracle as we keep speaking peace over this nation #speekpeece.

The song was originally done by Nosa, a seasoned Pastor and gospel musician in Nigeria who has many beautiful songs lyrics to his name he has done this song with so much pride and have shared a bit of that in this post I hope that you also love it.

Here is the lyrics to the song

Land of unity
Land of peace
Seems mean so funny
But when I look around that is what I see
Land of such ethnic and cultural diversity
A land so rich, giant of Africa indeed
Land of champions
Land of the bests
In the midst of the adversities, we stood the test
And through al the best of this season, one day we'll
complete
I love naija
I love the green white green
Oooh oh
Unity and faith, peace and progress
God bless our nation!
God bless Nigeria!
In the midst of the abundance, so many people no dey enjoy
The benefits, and plenty gifts
Wey we get for under our soil
But I hope say
One day we go change our ways
So that in future generations
Nigeria will be a better place
Unity and faith, peace and progress
God bless our nation!
God bless Nigeria!

Unity and faith, peace and progress
God bless our nation!
God bless Nigeria!
Naija na your home
Naija na my home too
So make we join our hands make we make our own good
Unity and faith, peace and progress
God bless our nation!
God bless Nigeria!
Unity and faith, peace and progress
God bless our nation!
God bless Nigeria!

completo
me encanta naija
me encanta el verde blanco verde
oh oh
Unidad y fe, paz y progreso
¡Dios bendiga a nuestra nación!
¡Dios bendiga a Nigeria!
Unidad y fe, paz y progreso
¡Dios bendiga a nuestra nación!
¡Dios bendiga a Nigeria!

Unidad y fe, paz y progreso
¡Dios bendiga a nuestra nación!
¡Dios bendiga a Nigeria!
naija en tu casa
Naija na mi casa también
Entonces haz que unamos nuestras manos, hagamos nuestro propio bien
Unidad y fe, paz y progreso
¡Dios bendiga a nuestra nación!
¡Dios bendiga a Nigeria!
Unidad y fe, paz y progreso
¡Dios bendiga a nuestra nación!
¡Dios bendiga a Nigeria!

@jaydr you've shared a wonderful song and beautiful piece about Nigeria.

It is sad to know that amidst the rich resources, intelligent personnel, skilled youths and so much abundance in Nigeria, the masses don't enjoy the benefits of being Nigerians.

We hope that the future will be better for Nigeria and Nigerians.

It is very sad to know the situation Nigerians are going through, I join in prayer that God will remain in control of everything. Remember that if you are in that place it is for a purpose you just have to ask God to fulfill the same in you. All will be well

Beautiful composition and the work you brought to this week's Hive open Mic was magnificent. The editing of the video and the play of voices fascinated me. Believe me words fall short when I come across work like this. Keep going and never stop.

God bless you 🤗🙏🏻
