The list goes on and on, but the studios are still scattered around and if we've already started, it's best to finish talking about them all. Studio Bones, like KyoAni, is one of the top studios in the industry because of the quality of the animation and the great stories they create. As I said in the title, these people were in charge of creating two of the best anime ever made and we will talk about them later. I don't know exactly how many studios are left but I would think that there are three and it is thought that everything is reduced to MAPPA, Toei or Madhouse and the truth is that it is not so, this world is quite extensive.

La lista se sigue extendiendo pero es que los estudios siguen por ahí regados y si ya comenzamos pues lo mejor es terminar de hablar de todos. Studio Bones, al igual que KyoAni, es de los estudios más top que tiene la industria por la calidad en la animación y por las grandes historia que crean. Como dije en el titulo esta gente fue la encargada de crear dos de los mejores anime que se han hecho nunca y de los que hablaremos más adelante. No se cuantos estudios quedan exactamente pero creería que son tres y es que se piensa que todo se reduce a MAPPA, Toei o Madhouse y la verdad es que no es así, este mundo es bastante extenso.

Although this is the 2009 version, it is understood that it is much more complete and detailed than the first one made back in 2003. Many people say that this anime is the best in history and they may be right because the level of its plot, the development of the characters, the fact that it is a story that leaves no holes and that its plot is always solid are characteristics that we find in very few anime nowadays. Here we have two brothers who are in search of a "philosopher's stone" to restore their bodies after an alchemy experiment fails completely. Bones has very similar elements in its animation if we compare their anime but that is not a problem since the quality is undeniable, this story has the complete DNA of this studio since both the visual and narrative is spectacular.

Aunque esta es la del 2009 se entiende que es mucho más completa y detallada que la primera hecha por allá en el 2003. Muchas personas dicen que este anime es el mejor de la historia y puede que tengan razón ya que el nivel de su trama, del desarrollo de los personajes, el hecho de que es una historia que no deja huecos y que su argumento siempre es sólido son características que encontramos en muy pocos anime hoy en día. Acá tenemos a dos hermanos que están en la busqueda de una "piedra filosofal" para poder restaurar sus cuerpos despues de que un experimento de alquimia fallara por completo. Bones tiene elementos muy parecidos en su animación si comparamos sus animes pero eso no es problema ya que la calidad es innegable, esta historia tiene el ADN completo de este estudio ya que tanto lo visual como lo narrativo es espectacular.

We come to the supernatural genre. I remember when I first saw something of this story, it was a movie I remember, I said I was going to watch the anime because I thought it was a very top notch story and look what it is. This anime is about a group of individuals with supernatural powers who take it upon themselves to clear up crimes that are not able to be solved by authorities. As for the plot it may be very similar to what we are used to seeing but what sets it apart from the rest is the particularity of its characters, all of them have a very marked personality that makes them unique in addition to their abilities that being very varied among them makes the plot very cool and deep to see. If you like mystery, dark with a touch of humor and comedy, this is the one for you.

Llegamos al género sobrenatural. Recuerdo que cuando vi por primera vez algo de esta historia, fue una película recuerdo, dije que iba a ver el anime porque me pareció muy top la historia y miren que lo es. Este anime trata sobre un grupo de individuos con poderes sobrenaturales que se encargan de esclarecer crímenes que no son capaces de ser resueltos por las autoridades. En cuanto a la trama puede que sea muy similar a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver pero lo que lo diferencia al resto es la particularidad de sus personajes, todos tienen una personalidad muy marcada que los hace únicos además de sus habilidades que al ser muy variadas entre ellos hace que la trama sea muy cool y profunda de ver. Si les gusta el misterio, lo oscuro con un toque de gracia y comedia, esta es para ustedes.

We enter the “rare” and different anime, but it is a real gem. And I say this because of the animation which is very different from what Bones usually shows but as it has happened with other studios there is always an anime that is out of the pattern in this aspect. This story also has supernatural overtones and tells us about Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, a student who has psychic powers but at the same time does not want to have them because he wants to be a normal person. Basically the story is about Mob trying to live as average a life as possible while looking for a way out of those powers. You probably haven't heard of it but this shonen is really good and what I really value is the animation, I'm always going to rave about things that break the mold.

Entramos en el anime "raro" y distinto pero que es una verdadera joya. Y esto lo digo por la animación la cual es muy diferente a lo que Bones suele mostrar pero como ya ha pasado con los demás estudios siempre hay un anime que se sale del patrón en este aspecto. Esta historia también tiene tintes sobrenaturales y nos habla de Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama, un estudiante que tiene poderes psíquicos pero que al mismo tiempo no los quiere tener ya que él lo que más desea es ser una persona normal. Basicamente la historia es ver a Mob tratar vivir una vida lo más promedio posible mientras busca la manera de salir de esos poderes. Probablemente no lo hayan escuchado pero este shonen es muy bueno y lo que realmente valoro es la animación, siempre voy a exaltar las cosas que se salgan del molde.

One thing about Bones is that the vast majority of its anime are carried under the same premise: an academy of students who train them for different things. Soul Eater is a bit like that. We are in a fictional world where, as I said, there is an academy that is in charge of preparing young people to carry certain weapons. These weapons are humans that have the ability to become them and that in turn have these young people as carriers. The idea or objective is that these weapons consume a specific number of souls to become something more powerful. The background is almost the same, what varies is the form and in that we have to emphasize what Bones does, the ability to always do different things without tiring the fan. Needless to say that the animation is brutal and here I highlight the music, it has a very good soundtrack.

Algo que tiene Bones es que la gran mayoría de sus anime están llevados bajo la misma premisa: una academia de estudiantes que los entrena para distintas cosas. Soul Eater es un poco esto. Estamos en un mundo de ficción en donde, como dije, hay una academia que se encarga de preparar a jóvenes para portar ciertas armas. Estas armas son humanos que tienen la capacidad de convertirse en ellas y que a su vez tienen a estos jóvenes como portadores. La idea u objetivo es que estas armas consuman un número específico de almas para lograr convertirse en algo más poderoso. El fondo es casi lo mismo lo que varía es la forma y en eso hay que destacar lo que hace Bones, la capacidad que tienen para siempre hacer cosas diversas sin cansar al fanático. Demás está decir que la animación es brutal y acá destaco a la música, tiene una banda sonora muy buena.

I don't talk about My Hero Academia because I recently did but this is the second jewel of this studio, no need to go deeper about it.

No hablo de My Hero Academia porque recientemente lo hice pero este es la segunda joya de este estudio, no hace falta profundizar más al respecto.

Me había olvidado que olvidado que Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood habia sido animada por el estudio Bones. No puedo hablar por las demás series porque no las vi, pero en cuanto a FMA, puedo decir que su animación es muy buena. Y contribuyeron a que este anime sea uno de los mejores de la historia (para mi es el mejor).

Coincido, es de los mejores de todos los tiempos. Mob Psycho 100 es muy buen anime, te lo recomiendo mucho.

Studio Bones really stands out for delivering both stunning animation and deep storytelling. It's impressive how they keep creating series with such variety and emotional impact, from "Fullmetal Alchemist" to "Mob Psycho 100."

FMA is amazing, I said it in the review but it's some of the best anime I've ever seen. And well I also agree with Mob Psycho 100, that anime is a real hidden gem that many should watch.

My Hero Academia is the only anime I've seen from this studio. I didn't know it had made the second anime in the review. I know it's very popular, I haven't seen it.

The first thing I saw of this anime was a movie that I reviewed here some time ago and the truth is that it is very good, the story is very similar to the rest but I think the characters are very top, it is very enjoyable to watch it.

Mucho se habla de MAPPA y su influencia en el Shōnen, pero poco se habla de que Bones tiene un puesto casi similar o superior con su repertorio y sus décadas ofreciendo obras de acción y fantasía que han hecho historia. Creo que este es uno de los estudios de los que más animes he visto y he disfrutado de todos.

Y tienes razón con lo que dices al principio, hay muchos estudios que mucha gente no conoce y que no deberían de pasarse por alto. Cómo por ejemplo: J.C.Staff, CygamesPictures, OLM, entre otros.

Algunos de esos estudios les haré su reseña porque es lo que dices, hacen un trabajo muy top y pocas personas saben de ellos. Creo que Bones es de los más sólidos de los que he hecho hasta ahora, que tengan a FMA y My Hero Academia dice la calidad que tienen.
