This is how I walk through life … || Week:184

When my husband told me that possibly the first week of January 2024 we are going to the beach, I decided to put together from November 18, to produce the Christmas event, and enjoy it for longer.

With my practical sense of existence I called my friend Jaros, the queen of glamour and decoration, to ask her to give me whatever she had left over there, because I don't feel able to take on such a complicated task ha ha ha.

Of course, my glamour friend was horrified, she told me: “Let's not talk about the matter anymore, she already sent everything to me.” And that's how a little tree and gift ornaments arrived at this house, which I didn't even have to choose and which are part of the super discounts they have in their store because they are collections from previous years, and they are intact.

Yesterday Friday I finished putting together the Christmas tree, with many beautiful details that I loved because everything seemed childish to me, take my inner girl out to play. Angels, snowmen, baseballs, puppies, as well as luminous and holy balls, but also cards, nutcrackers. Many lights that we turned into a tangle by putting them in the little tree, but these tangles turn into happiness.

Simplicity is the norm in my home, my life, because that's how I walk through life, with my husband. Simplicity and love of the good, because really my husband, who always embraces my decisions as the "Home Manager, "is amazing, because we have gone through everything together.

This is our tradition of celebrating Christmas, the day that comes to mind. And as a good administrator of my home, we also placed the nativity scene with pieces that I bought in Seville, Spain, years ago, while we were doing it, we listened to Christmas music, Zulian bagpipes (native music) from our Maracaibo, I think there are dates to be happy and let the spirit of Christmas get into your soul, that's how it should be for J. R., and his lady "ME", our children, who are present on video calls, all to be together, still thank God.

My suggestion for this 2024 is that you free yourself from how much it demands of yourself. Don't wait to make decisions. That if when I retire, when the children get married, when I change my job... it resolves, so be it, into small things, without so many complications, nor complaints, because everything starts from small, from the simple.

In addition, to my commitments in 2024, I will wear glasses all the time because the truth is I can't see very well without them, I can't make out the instructions of the sound system, when I'm writing on my Hive blog, I can't write the information on my iPad either....

So I will go this weekend with the formula in the hand of my ophthalmologist so that they can formulate 2 pairs of lenses for me, because if I am going to wear lenses that have to do with my personality, that are multifocal and darken (transition) with the sun. They're not cheap, but they give me a discount on the optics, and you can't play with your eyes.

And the truth is, I'm happy with my new liberating image, Galen, I'm still a continuous writer at Hive because it's a choice I accept, and it fills me with fullness and here I'm sharing this 184th weekend commitment, the Christmas montage when we want to enjoy, it that way, welcoming you to our tradition.
