Selfie At San Juanico Bridge Before My Flight

Wednesday, October 25th, was my scheduled day to fly back to Hong Kong. I was a bit disappointed in the morning because my flight schedule was changed without early notice. I was already at the airport when I received the notification. I left home too early, particularly past 8 in the morning, because I don't want to be late. Only to find out that my 1:30 pm flight was moved to 3:40 pm. I should have stayed longer at home and visited my father's grave if I had been notified earlier. I stayed bored at the airport for more or less five hours.

I left home with a heavy heart, especially seeing my mom not looking happy about my leaving. I just hoped everything would be fine and her sickness would get better soon. May our late father guide and look after her and our family while we, the older children, are working away from home. I chose not to bring her to the airport because it'd be more difficult on my part. I may be tough, but I am also too emotional at times.

I left all sadness behind because I wanted to look forward to a more positive outlook on life while starting a new chapter. Although there were a plethora of negative thoughts in my mind, I just shoved them away. All I want now is to work harder because I feel broke 🤣. This vacation made me, lol.

Anyhow, while traversing through San Juanico Bridge, I didn't plan to get out of the car, but the thought of it came to mind when I was halfway to the middle part of it. I asked the driver to stop because I wanted to take a selfie on the bridge. Kuya driver can't go out to do the favor because the car might drive on its own if he leaves the breaker, lol. He can't park it either because the police officers at the patrol post at the end of the bridge might see us. It'll be a bigger problem. I took a quick few shots with no photographer. After a minute and a half, I returned to my seat before I got into trouble. It was, if my memory serves me right, my third time stepping foot on the bridge.

Once again, this is Jane, flying with the Philippine Airlines, the heart of the Filipino. 😅

At the moment, past five in the afternoon, I'm waiting for my flight back to Hong Kong.
