Finally got the monthly author badge! + The Daily Photos

Good morning friends and welcome to the weekend!

I hope your day has started off on a good path. :)

To share some good news with you. The other day I got a new badge from https://hivebuzz.me. I received a reward for publishing an article every day of the month. This was a badge that I have been trying to get for a long time, and I received it yesterday, which was super cool.

Yes, it could be easy to get, just post some half ass content every day... however I didn't want post a month with just BS to receive this badge, just every month it seemed like something would come up, I would lose a day here or there, then have to start over again... however, a mere 821 posts later, September was the month that brought success! Finally! Woo-hoo, I also realized, that on October 11th, it will be my 3-year birthday on hive! Whoa.. Where does time go?

I will post a more of a reminiscing article on the 11th about my journey so far... However though, let's get to the photos for today, and we can talk more about celebrations and parties later on. :)

The Daily Photos :

This morning, the silver smile of the moon was high above. The police on the beach however have also started to crack down on bringing animals to the boardwalk (and the beach), so Puppy @Kooza and I can no longer walk along it in the morning. :( Such a sad day with such a beautiful morning...

20211002_051813-01.jpeg

This was a sunset photo that I took looking westward, no puppy with me at this time... but still, such a nice day outside.

20211001_171155-01.jpeg

Sitting on the beach, I was watching a little crab, coming in and out of this hole here. I wonder how many times in the day, they have to rebuild their home, when someone steps on it...

20211002_062048-01.jpeg

Then when they climb outside their home, they look across a vast endless sea of dunes, a forever shifting pile of sand.

20211002_062056-01.jpeg

Mountains of miniature pebbles climb over, a landscape dotted with giants walking.

20211002_062108-01.jpeg

How easy it is to get lost in these twisting sand piles, forget your way back to your little sandy nest.

20211002_062116-01.jpeg

I also came across this lovely diorama? The grass and the twisting dancing nature of the tree caught my attention. It seemed like something out of a Pixar movie, seemed all little too perfect.

20211002_063021-01.jpeg

For real just check out that sexy tree. if you have ever been to any sort of rock concert, the tree looks like one to be girls with long dreads, dancing, perhaps on some sort of drugs with their eyes closed, wearing unwashed dress and just having fun. lol.

20211002_063026-01.jpeg

Speaking of being unwashed, here's a photo Yours truly. lol. I got a haircut the other day, and it felt so, so good. The cost of a nice haircut here is 50,000 VND or $2.20 USD. Back in the states I would have paid at least $10 or $20... Just can't beat the affordable nature of Vietnam.

20211001_144853-01.jpeg

It's not necessarily easy for me to capture content, and post stories every day. But what is difficult gets easy, when we keep doing it. Right before the lockdown started, two friends laughed at me and said "you look fat". They were joking, but I thought to myself that, perhaps ... I was. So I have spent the last 30 days or more exercising every day in the morning.

The first day I could barely do 25 push-ups, and here it is now, maybe a month and later, and I am doing two sets of 50 push-ups with ease. What is difficult gets easier the more you do it.

We can make the same argument about happiness and inspiration. The more you make yourself happy, the more you seek inspiration, the easier it gets to find.

As always, I would like to thank you for joining me on this adventure here, I hope you find these posts inspirational and give you strength to keep posting your daily updates every day as well.

Cheers
:)

Oh I get to be the first here! Hehehe

Well this is my second post reading of yours and I'm not disappointed yet! Hehehe

I was wondering where you were at and you answered...in VIETNAM! VERY COOL!!!

I've never been but I love their food hehehehe

LOVE their food!!!! Mmmmm now I'm craving it hehehehe

So did you used to be in the states??? If so...where from!

Do you have a post that talks about why you moved? Then you won't have to say it all over again...I'll just go read your story there hehehe

Congrats on the monthly author also???? I 100% agree with you...when people put out crap content and get the badges...how is that fulfilling???

I don't know...I don't get it.

Why write unless you take the time to do it well...right?

Well you have done it well and you've earned that monthly badge if the other posts you did this month were the quality that I've read hehehe

As far as my favorite pics...hmmm very hard to choose ..that morning glory sunrise is amazing!!!!

But....

Maybe this will surprise you hehehe but I actually love the simplicity of the pure sand one.

It's beautiful. Nature is gorgeous hehehehe

Hope you have a fabulous day!!!

Night here for me 🤗

WOOOO WOOOO @dreemsteem congratulations on leaving the first comment. :D

I'm happy to hear that I haven't disappointed you yet with my of avant-garde posting style.

yes I've been living in Danang Vietnam for the last two years. it is so affordable that I eat vegetarian food every day for less than five dollars, afford to live in a nice place next to the beach, and really have a nice quality of life. if sunny California gets to be too much for you, consider Vietnam!

I think I have a post, somewhere, that talks about why I moved here... but I am not sure... been a while now so it's probably deep on the block chain someplace... I will have to dusted off at some point.

I like the pure sand photos as well. It's fun to think that all those grains of sand are giant boulders for other things, that once they were rocks, that once those rocks were lava, and once that lava was space dust, and once that space dust was nothing at all but subatomic strings vibrating.

I hope your day and night was fabulous as well!

Please enjoy a hot !Pizza and the rest of your day!

Congrats on the badge! That's not an easy one to get with the mentality you have. I am glad you didn't sacrifice quality for quantity. Your posts and photography have been really good and we are proud to have you here in the community. Keep up the great work. Last month was my blockchain birthday. Can't remember if it's my 3rd or 4th hahahha Where does the time go?!

@castleberry well happy (late) blockchain birthday my friend!!! !PIZZA and !LUV all the way!! :D

Also, thank you for the compliments... I got asked are you really Bob Ross's kid? or is it a more metaphorical statement, that like, he inspired you as a father would with art??

have a great day and let's keep making art!

Thanks for the Birthday Love and Pizza! Happy Birthday to you!

No, i am not a or the son of Bob Ross. He was a profound influence on me as a child. In my profile picture i photoshopped (actually MS Painted) my face into Bob's Afro and have used his gifs of wisdom. So, i was labeled this title by Deranged...

congrats on the 30 day badge. Some month I might just make it, but not likely. I do good to get a full week on occasion. Too many things to do, too few hours. Maybe I should give up some of the 3-4 hours of sleep. hmmm nawww.

Blame @dreemsteem for me showing up. I don't write books for comments so that will give you more time to read hers :)
