RE: After 3 1/2 years, I finally got my rescued and abused dachshund to jump up on my lap!

My sister has a dachshund mix who was apparently abused in a prior home. He's not as skittish as yours, but he still tends to cower if anyone picks up a stick, ruler, or other club-like item. He has largely calmed down, but he's also very worried and barky if his humans aren't around. I don't know if he's smart, but he sure is stubborn!

No breed is more stubborn, or smarter, IMHO! Von barks a lot to, but he's usually 'talking' to us. He has a lot to say, and that may have caused his poor treatment!

There is a special corner of hell reserved for animal abusers!!!!

🤬👎🤮😭🤢

Well, this dog is a mix, and I think he only got the stubborn part of doxie genetics plus the neuroses of a chihuahua or something.

They call that mix a chiweenie, and we rescued one of those. A Lady from church still loves and spoiled him...I named him Pip, because he had great expectations, LOL!

Stubborn is a dachshund trait for certain.

👍💗🤠🙏😆🤕
