You DO have to watch for them, or they will nest in your plants on your porch. It's not that it is not fun to be able to watch their progression, but it is a bit of a nuisance coming in and out sometimes and later..... poop !

Isn't that true? :) The robins aren't too bad as the piece of porch they are using is wrapped around to the side, so I never really have to go too close to them unless I am watering some plants.
The barn swallows are the ones that really go nuts! I keep knocking them down as they build on the porch. First twig and I am out there. I used to just let them, but, they are pretty insistent that I cannot use the porch after the nest is built! :) Then, they started building in the newspaper holder on the mailbox. The postman and I have fun with that one.
No poop yet, but of course, it is a matter of time. :) Apologies for the small upvote, the market is in another day and I am only at 60%

It's ok, I don't pay a lot of attention to amounts of upvotes. Not that I don't like big ones....LOL.... just that I don't judge on amounts. It's so kind that you gave me anything. :)
I actually don't either. Who doesn't love big ones? :)) I'm not crazy!
