An uneventful day at school made us think about spending the rest of the day at a nearby coffee shop.

The shop, called BLCK, is only a few minutes' drive from our university. At first, the four of us planned to hang out after class. Then my boyfriend offered to give us a ride so we could save money. Instead of paying for transportation, we could use that money to buy drinks and snacks. We all agreed because it was a good idea.

When we arrived, my friends invited my boyfriend to stay with us as a way of saying thank you for the ride. I was really happy because I could spend time with both my friends and my boyfriend in one place. It made the afternoon more special.

We planned to finish one of our school assignments while we were there. To be honest, I do not enjoy doing school work in coffee shops. I find it hard to focus because there are many people talking, walking around, and ordering drinks. The place was nice, but it was a little noisy for studying.

Since I could not concentrate, I decided to spend my time talking with my boyfriend instead. We made a few cute TikTok videos, laughed together, and talked about how our days had been. Sometimes, simple moments like these become the best memories.

The coffee at BLCK tasted good, especially the Spanish latte that I ordered. It had a smooth and creamy taste with just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee flavor was still strong, which made it enjoyable to drink.

However, I think the drinks were a little expensive. I do not think the prices are very student-friendly. Since the shop is close to both a university and a high school, lowering the prices a little could attract more students.

Even so, I really liked the place. The shop has a relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable. The design is simple, cozy, and welcoming. It feels like a place where you can sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, and forget about your worries for a while. I would love to visit again, not only for the coffee, but also for the good company and the peaceful feeling the place gives.
