(ESP-ENG) Hummanities: What are they eaten with?
Welcome dear Hivers to my new post, today I want to participate in the first initiative of the @humanitas community, which by the way, reminds me of my school, because it has the same name. Although they don't ask us to invite anyone, I want to invite @franzzonline, to answer these questions as well.
Bienvenidos queridos Hivers a mi nuevo post, el día de hoy quiero participar de la primera iniciativa de la comunidad @humanitas, que por cierto, me recuerda a mi colegio, porque se llama igual. Aunque no piden que invitemos a nadie, yo quiero invitar a @franzzonline, a que nos responda estas preguntas también.
Humanities are all the tools, subjects, knowledge that serves us among human beings to communicate, understand where we come from and keep record of our existence on Earth, at least for me. I think of it this way because when we study something related to the humanities we analyze how man has evolved according to what we are asked, and with this we seek to relate the above, with our day to day.
Las humanidades son todas las herramientas, materias, conocimiento que nos sirve entre los seres humanos para comunicarnos, entender de dónde venimos y guardar registro de nuestra existencia en la Tierra, al menos para mí. Lo pienso de esta manera porque cuando estudiamos algo relacionado a las humanidades analizamos cómo ha ido evolucionando el hombre de acuerdo a lo que nos piden, y con ello buscamos relacionar lo anterior, con nuestro día a día.
For example: Language and Literature, a subject that we see from preschool, and we say that is the easiest, until we get to high school, which is where we begin to really analyze the texts and assume what an author wants to tell us through his words, whether it is true or not. If we go to university, then we may also be introduced to the etymology of words, which may even lead us to a part of world history.
Por ejemplo: Lengua y Literatura, una materia que vemos desde preescolar, y decimos eso es lo más fácil, hasta que llegamos a secundaria, que es donde empezamos a analizar los textos realmente y suponemos lo que un autor nos quiere decir a través de sus palabras, sea cierto o no. Si nos vamos a la universidad, entonces es posible que también nos expliquen la etimología de las palabras, lo que nos puede incluso llevar a una parte de historia universal.
For me, the humanities are extremely important because they allow us to be subjective and, therefore, to change and improve. Science forces us to be objective, everything is as it is and cannot be modified, whether we like it or not, the humanities open our minds to the fact that not everything is black and white, there are also shades of gray.

Sin humanidades viviríamos en un mundo frío, sin contacto, porque no nos importaría más que seguir el plan que se nos haya trazado.
Humanities is what makes man a man, and what helps us to relate to our environment. Seeing problems and solving them as quickly as possible in our lives is why when we see someone suffering we reach out to help. Without humanities we would live in a cold world, without contact, because we would not care more than to follow the plan that has been drawn for us.
Yes, and there is much more room for the humanities, precisely because technology is driven by humanity. Thousands of applications are created every day, or applications are used to communicate between human beings. It would seem that we have locked ourselves in, but it turns out that we haven't.
Sí, y hay mucho más espacio para las humanidades, justamente porque la tecnología se rige por la humanidad. Se crean miles de aplicaciones a diario, o se usan las aplicaciones para comunicarse entre seres humanos. Pareciera que nos hemos encerrado, pero resulta que no.
¿Qué buscan las humanidades? ¿No están buscando conectar seres humanos? ¿Solucionar problemas de convivencia? ¿Liberar la mente y ayudar a evolucionar? Las humanidades hacen todo esto, la cosa es que el ser humano es terco, y busca lo que no le conviene.
What are the humanities looking for? Aren't they looking to connect human beings? To solve problems of coexistence? To free the mind and help to evolve? The humanities do all this, the thing is that human beings are stubborn, and seek what does not suit them.
A very difficult question, but if we want to generate a change, it could be to create debates either in a post or in a video for @3Speak. It would be very interesting to hear diverse positions regarding some topic related to the humanities. Also, it is an opportunity to grow, improve and educate ourselves.
Una pregunta muy difícil, pero si queremos generar un cambio, podría ser crear debates ya sea en un post o en un vídeo para @3Speak. Sería muy interesante escuchar diversas posturas respecto a algún tema relacionado con las humanidades. Además, es una oportunidad de crecer, mejorar y educarse.
I think there must be many more ways to promote the humanities, but that's the only one I can think of at the moment. So this is the end of my participation in the initiative and I'll see you in my next post.

Me encantó la frase que dices sobre sin las humanidades viviríamos en un mundo frío, y es cierto, porque seríamos como robtos en nuestras relaciones, les faltaría corazón a lo que hacemos, esas razones que nos mueven a cada momento.
