The Cycle (Freewrite)
Ryan Drake is very happy that his debut album "The Cycle" was finally released. He went on for radio tour, and being the guest at "Elma's Daytime Show". He also guested in other TV shows where he promoted his debut album. According to him, his album is composed of stories about struggles in life and career.
He doesn't expect to reach the Top 10 or number 1. Being in the top 40 is fine for him, and longevity in record sales. He's happy that the album received 78 critical score which is considered universally positive.
Ryan's expectation was exceeded when "The Cycle" debuted at number 14 in Global Albums Chart as it has sold 178k copies. It charted at number 12 in Albums 200 with 108k sold, and number 20 in UK Albums selling 33k copies. His single "Carousel" went up to number 24 globally, number 22 in the Hot 100, and number 25 in UK Singles. In Modern Rock Charts, it remains at number 1. Ryan is supposed to release a new single, but plans changed as he wants to focus on "Carousel" while promoting "The Cycle". He's still happy after selling more than 700k records.

Another new artist Olivia is also one of the guests of a talk show after Ryan Drake performed. Meanwhile, Olivia's new single "Now the One" climbed to number 24 in Global Singles Chart, while it also went up to number 25 in UK Singles and Hot 100.
Her single "Be the One" is still doing good in the charts despite the drop to number 10 globally, and it is down to number 14 in the Hot 100, and number 10 in UK Singles. It has also exceeded 1 million global sales. Her album "The One" is down to number 7 in Global Albums, number 5 in Albums 200, and number 9 in UK Albums.
