Peaceful (Freewrite Challenge)
In 1920, Mark and his mom decided to go home as the war is already over. Spanish flu seems gone as well, but they have no idea if they'll find his father alive. Going home might be the first move to know if he is alive, but they are expecting their place is completely damaged.
When they got home, they Mark.and his mom are surprised their farms has crops planted in. Their house was also rebuilt. Thinking someone might have occupied their land, they knocked at the door. They were surprised his father is there.
They hugged as a family, and his father told them he's been able to escape attacks by the enemies. He's nearly killed but gladly survived. It's time for them to restart their lives, and focused on their farm. It was quite peaceful at that time too.
