Chimney (Freewrite Challenge)
The couple migrated to the country where it is snowing. They transferred to another country for greener pastures, and so they can start a family too. Their first months is quite a struggle as they are adjusting especially with the weather. Living in a tropical country, the temperature is very different.
Their first autumn is coming, and their neighbor advised them to collect woods for the fireplace. Thick snow will surely cover their place so they did what was told to them. They also cleaned up the chimney to be ready for winter.
It's already cold, then snowflakes begin to fall. Their first time to witness a snowfall. Very happy for their first winter. Despite their struggle because of the extreme cold, they enjoyed their first winter even went to the frozen river.
