Well, friends, below I will discuss a little about cultivating eggplant plants that have expired or are old.

Eggplant is one of the vegetable crops that is very popular at the moment among the people in this area and the fruit is very good for us to consume and the price is quite expensive at the moment, especially in the dry season like this, so I have planted several plants like this. decades ago because I was a farmer so I cannot be separated from farmer work at this time.

So at this time the dry season has arrived and for the last few months this area has been hit by the dry season so the plan was to plant new eggplant plants so I didn't have time to sow the seeds because they thought they wouldn't grow because of the dry season so I used old eggplants like This is by cutting all the stems, then hoeing around the stems that I cut until the soil is completely loose and then watering with sufficient water.

After watering with a small amount of water, I used fertilizer again so that the new shoots would reappear and bear fruit and be as fertile as before and like the eggplant that we had just planted and the fertilization that I did was not done with organic fertilizer if it was done with organic fertilization because of the dry season of the plant. The eggplant will die and will be destroyed and cannot be used again.

I also use organic fertilizer or Jagaba fertilizer that I made later in Jakarta, which is very useful for old plants. If we water the fertilizer, it will grow again and become fertile again and immediately flower and bear fruit again like the plants we just planted, so there is no need to throw away the plants. For old ones, just use organic fertilizer, this is really extraordinary and very simple.
