Ladies Of Hive Contest Round 59: My entry
Hello beautiful women of #Hive especially those of #LadiesOfHive, in the previous contest I couldn't participate because I didn't have much time, but today I'm very excited to participate once again in this community. I take this opportunity to invite @mariamor785. If you want to participate this is the link of the contest. I find this week's questions really fun and they were created by fellow @elizabethbit.
1️⃣ The holidays are all about tradition. What is your most cherished family holiday tradition? Tell us about it, how it came to be, and why it's special to you.
The family tradition is to travel to the countryside and spend it there until about January 7th. I don't have pictures because they are on the hard drive of my dad's computer which burned the motherboard in a power outage. Whenever we go to the countryside at Christmas we manage to make hallacas (few because there the visits are reduced), we make cookies, ham bread and spend it among family, this year will be a little sad because my brother became independent and he can not leave his house alone, plus he has to work every day and more at Christmas where sales increase. When we travel we always take a princess with us and that makes the trip not boring. This tradition started several years ago and it was a decision of my parents to get away from technology and for me the important thing is to spend Christmas with the family, and that contact with nature gives us peace and harmony. I hope this Christmas is beautiful.
2️⃣ So many shiny ornaments (and maybe some not so shiny). Show us your most treasured holiday ornament and tell the story behind it.
My favorite ornaments are these. It fills me with beautiful memories to see these two ornaments.
This reindeer made with felt was given to me by my preschool teacher, she was very good to me, she is the only teacher who still remembers me and recognizes me even if years go by without seeing me. This is a nice memory of preschool, thanks to that dear teacher with her creative and fun games I had an excellent childhood. I remember her taking me to the bathroom and wiping my face every time I ate, or every time I played. She was always attentive to me. Then I changed teachers and it wasn't the same.
This snowman was made by my mom and me, this was in the first year of high school. We made this snowman because in high school they were giving the subject (of which at this moment I do not remember the name) and the task was to make a store, so we had to have creative products that had a function, all made with our hands. So my mom and I made some woven rugs, dolls and felt ornaments. I remember the teacher said that my store was the most beautiful and creative and I got 20/20 on the evaluation. It makes me happy because it was something that my mom and I worked on together and it turned out very nice and the best thing is that it would be used to put in our house for Christmas (it was not long before Christmas), the school term ended on December 15. My mom has always been the best at making crafts, she taught me how to sew and how to place the sequins with the beads, although I had no interest to learn well at that time.
Answering the quiz questions made me remember beautiful things from my childhood, many thanks to @elizabethbit for making them.

Hola mujeres lindas de #Hive especialmente a las de #LadiesOfHive, en el anterior concurso no pude participar porque no contaba con mucho tiempo, pero hoy estoy muy emocionada de participar una vez mas en ésta comunidad. Aprovecho de invitar a @mariamor785. Si deseas participar este es el link del concurso. Las preguntas de ésta semana me parecen muy divertidas y las creó la compañera @elizabethbit.
1️⃣ Las fiestas son todo tradición. ¿Cuál es tu tradición familiar más preciada? Cuéntanosla, cómo surgió y por qué es especial para ti.
La tradición familiar es viajar al campo y pasarla allá hasta aproximadamente el 7 de enero. No tengo fotos porque están en el disco duro de la computadora de mi papá la cual se le quemó la tarjeta madre en un apagón. Siempre que vamos al campo en navidad se logra hacer hallacas (pocas porque allá las visita son reducidas), hacemos galletas, pan de jamón y la pasamos entre familia, éste año va a estar un poco triste porque mi hermano se independizó y él no puede dejar su casa sola, además de que tiene que trabajar todos los días y mas en navidad donde aumenta las ventas. Siempre cuando viajamos nos llevamos a princesa y eso hace que el viaje no sea aburrido. Ésta tradición surgió hace ya varios años y fue por decisión de mis padres para alejarnos de las tecnologías y para mi lo importante es pasar la navidad con la familia, y que el contacto con la naturaleza nos da paz y armonía. Espero que ésta navidad sea bonita.
2️⃣ Cuántos adornos brillantes (y quizá algunos no tan brillantes). Muéstranos tu adorno navideño más preciado y cuéntanos la historia que hay detrás.
Mis adornos favoritos son estos. Me llenan de recuerdos bonitos ver éstos dos adornos.
Éste reno hecho con fieltro me lo regaló mi maestra de preescolar, ella fué muy buena conmigo. Es la única profesora que aún se acuerda de mí que me reconoce así pasen varios años sin verme. Éste es un lindo recuerdo de preescolar, gracias a ésa querida maestra con sus juegos creativos y divertidos tuve una excelente infancia. Me acuerdo que ella me llevaba al baño y me limpiaba la cara cada vez que comía, o cada vez que jugaba. Ella siempre fué atenta conmigo. Luego me cambiaron de maestra y no fué lo mismo. 🥺
Éste muñeco de nieve lo hicimos mi mamá y yo, esto fué en el primer año de secundaria. Éste muñeco lo hicimos porque en bachillerato daban la materia (del cual en éste momento no recuerdo el nombre) y la tarea era hacer una tienda, o sea que debíamos tener productos creativos y que tuvieran una función, todo hecho con nuestras manos. Entonces mi mamá y yo hicimos unos tapetes tejidos, unos muñecos y adornos de fieltro. Recuerdo que la maestra dijo que mi tienda era la más bonita y creativa y saqué 20/20 en la evaluación. Me hace feliz porque fue algo en que trabajamos mi mamá y yo juntas y nos quedó todo bien lindo y lo mejor es que serviría para colocarlo en nuestra casa en navidad (faltaba poco para navidad), el lapso escolar terminaba el 15 de diciembre. Mi mamá siempre a sido la mejor haciendo manualidades, ella en ese momento me enseñó a como coser y a colocar las lentejuelas con las mostacillas, aunque interés de aprender bien no tuve para ése entonces.
Responder las preguntas del concurso me hicieron recordar cosas hermosas de mi niñez, muchas gracias a @elizabethbit por haberlas realizado.

Hello @ivycrafts. I just love your ornaments given to you by special people in your life. They are lovely. I especially like the reindeer with those eyes. You are right about putting away the technology and spending the day enjoying family.
