Hello, warm greetings. Welcome, I wish you all a happy start to the week, especially the #NeedleWorkMonday community. Today I show you the result of my tenth completed challenge. I'm excited to show you because it was not easy, first I had to invest in yarn because I didn't have all the colors to make Pedro's clothes, I also bought a light brown yarn to make the beard. Did you imagine that it was Pedro Flintstone? Unfortunately, I didn't finish it on time, I got confused, I thought I finished on the 29th and it was on the 26th of this month. I would have loved to finish it in the stipulated time, but several events happened that did not allow me to finish it in time. Anyway, I finished it and I am happy with it. Pedro Flintstones is the main character of "The Flintstones", this animated series influenced my childhood. Pedro with his personality of rude, stubborn, and not very thoughtful; makes him very loved because deep down he has a good heart. Although after falling into a mistake, he learns and reflects. Without further ado, I will show you the process to complete the challenge.

Hola, saludos cordiales. Bienvenidos, les deseo un feliz inicio de semana a todos, especialmente a la comunidad #NeedleWorkMonday. Hoy les muestro el resultado de mi décimo reto culminado. Estoy emocionada en mostrárselos, ya que me costó hacerlo, no fue fácil, primero tuve que invertir en hilos, porque no tenía todos los colores para poder hacer la ropa de Pedro, también compré un hilo de un tono marrón claro para hacer la barba. ¿Ustedes se imaginaban que era Pedro Picapiedra? Lamentablemente, no lo culminé a tiempo, me confundi, creí que terminaba el 29 y era el 26 de este mes. Me hubiera encantado terminarlo en el tiempo estipulado, pero sucedieron varios acontecimientos que no me dejaron culminarlo en el momento. De todos modos lo culminé y me siento feliz con ello. Pedro Picapiedra, es el personaje principal de "Los Picapiedra", esta serie animada influyó en mi infancia. Pedro con su personalidad de rudo, obstinado y poco reflexivo; hace que sea muy querido, porque en el fondo tiene un corazón bueno. Aunque después de caer en un error, el aprende y reflexiona. Sin más preámbulos voy a mostrarles el proceso para lograr culminar el reto.

• I did the beard twice because I had done it with the brown yarn (the one that was tucked in the photo of the materials). But since it was very dark I had to buy a lighter shade, although I did have trouble finding it. Then, I made the ears.

• Hice la barba dos veces porque lo había hecho con el hilo marrón (el que se entremetió en la foto de los materiales). Pero como era muy oscuro tuve que comprar un tono más claro, aunque sí me costó encontrarlo. Luego, hice las orejas.

• Next, I sewed the hair to the head. I must admit that this part was a bit more difficult to sew than the previous pieces.

• Seguidamente, cosí el cabello a la cabeza. Debo reconocer que esta parte fue un poco más difícil de coser más que las piezas anteriores.

• I sewed the ears. And I embroidered the eyebrows and the mouth. With the liquid silicone I glued the small pieces of felt on Pedro's clothes.

• Cosí las orejas. Y bordé las cejas y la boca. Con la silicona líquida pegué los pequeños retazos de fieltro en la ropa de Pedro.

Yabba Dabba Doo!! Ready, that's Pedro Flintstones. Let's talk a little about Fred Flintstone:

• His first appearance on television screens was in 1960 in the series "The Flintstones". He is a very popular character in the United States. His name in English is Fred Flintstone, but for the Spanish version it was translated into Pedro Picapiedra, and it was so that people would easily remember that name, besides the fact that in some cultures the name "Pedro" derives from "Petro" which means "stone". In order not to lose the fact that the name began in "P", the "Flintstone" was translated to "Flintstone".

• Su primera aparición en las pantallas de televisión fue en 1960 en la serie "Los Picapiedra". Es un personaje muy popular en Estados Unidos. Su nombre en inglés es Fred Flintstone, pero para la versión en español se tradujo en Pedro Picapiedra, y fue para que las personas recordaran fácilmente ese nombre, además de que en algunas culturas el nombre "Pedro" deriva de "Petro" que significa "piedra". Para no perder el hecho de que el nombre comenzara en "P", el "Flintstone" se tradujo a "Picapiedra".

Y eso es todo, gracias por llegar hasta acá. Me encantó mucho hacer este reto, porque aprendí a como unir de forma diferente los brazos y el como hacer deditos facilmente en pies y manos. Me despido, hasta una próxima oportunidad, les deseo un hermoso y feliz lunes.
