[ENG-SPA] 🎨New drawing and painting materials/Estrenando materiales de dibujo y pintura🎨

Greetings, welcome to my blog. I hope you are well. I wish you a happy day, especially to those of you in the #Sketchbook community. Today I am excited to share these drawings I did a few days ago. On my birthday I gave myself some acrylic paints and watercolors, but that day or the next day I couldn't "test" them. After that, in MercadoLibre I got some notebooks for acrylic paints, I saw that there were only four units left, and with my mom's help, I managed to buy the four notebooks. I had never used acrylic paints, and I had never seen them in any other store, but they always talk about them on TV, in craft shows from other countries. The day I saw these paints in Traki, I immediately bought them, although they are very small and do not yield anything. Even so, I think it is worth buying them. Soon I will show you the gifts I received on my birthday. Anyway, a month after my birthday I was able to try the paints and watercolors. Even though I had never used them before, I loved the result. The first drawing was painted with watercolors and a few acrylic paints, the second drawing was painted only with acrylic paints.

Hoy estoy emocionada por compartir estos dibujos que hice hace pocos días. El día de mi cumpleaños me autorregalé unas pinturas acrílicas y acuarelas, pero ese día ni el día siguiente pude "probarlas". Luego de eso, en MercadoLibre conseguí libretas para pinturas acrílicas, vi que solo le quedaban cuatro unidades, y con ayuda de mi mamá logré comprar las cuatro libretas. Yo nunca había usado pinturas acrílicas, y nunca las había visto en ninguna otra tienda, pero como siempre hablan de ellas en la televisión, en programas de manualidades de otros países. El día que vi esas pinturas en Traki, inmediatamente las compré, aunque son muy pequeñas y no rinden nada. Aun así creo que si vale la pena comprarlas. Pronto mostraré los regalos que recibí en mi cumpleaños. En fin, un mes después de mi cumpleaños pude probar las pinturas y acuarelas. A pesar de que nunca las había utilizado, me encantó muchísimo el resultado. El primer dibujo lo pinté con acuarelas y un poquito de las pinturas acrílicas, el segundo dibujo sí fue pintado solo con las pinturas acrílicas.

As I was very happy because I could finally draw and I felt like doing it, I decided to do another little drawing, portraying on the first page of the notebook, my happy birthday. I made the sketch with the 2H pencil. Then, I used watercolors, and I hadn't painted for a while, so it was a little difficult to get the skin tone I wanted, but I did it. For the clothes I used acrylic paints because they were not the dark tone I wanted. I like to outline the drawings with black color, so this drawing was not spared.

Como estaba muy contenta porque por fin podría dibujar y tenía ganas de hacerlo, decidí hacerme otro dibujito, retratando en la primera hoja de la libreta, a mi feliz en mi cumpleaños. Hice el boceto con el lápiz 2H. Luego, usé acuarelas, y tenía tiempo que no pintaba, así que se me dificultó un poco conseguir el tono color piel que deseaba, pero lo logré. Para la ropa usé pinturas acrílicas porque no quedaban del tono oscuro que quería. A mí me gusta contornear los dibujos con color negro, así que este dibujo no se salvó de ello.

Then, because I was so excited that my previous drawing had turned out beautifully, I started to draw and paint something that I didn't dare to do because I thought it was too difficult to do. Sponge Bob and Patricio Estrella, before I tried to draw them and they didn't come out, not even similar, I don't know why I couldn't draw them. Nowadays, as I have practiced more, I draw almost everything I want to draw, with a little difficulty, but in the end I do achieve what I want to draw.

Seguidamente, por mi emoción de que había quedado bellísimo mi dibujo anterior, me lancé a dibujar y pintar algo que no me atrevía porque pensaba que era muy difícil de hacer. Bob Esponja y a Patricio Estrella, antes intentaba dibujarlos y no me salían, ni siquiera parecidos, no sé por qué no podía dibujarlos. Actualmente, como he practicado más, dibujo casi todo lo que me proponga, con un poco de dificultad, pero a la final si logro lo que deseo dibujar.

Painting is a challenge for me, although I must admit that I have improved. Painting with watercolors or acrylic paints, helped me to realize that I do know how to combine colors, to achieve a color similar or equal to the one I have in mind. In this drawing, I got involved in making each color, I liked the color of Patricio Estrella's skin. I also got the tones for the inside of Patricio's mouth and the background of the window where Bob and Patricio are located.

Pintar, es todo un reto para mí, aunque debo admitir que he mejorado. Pintar con acuarelas o con pinturas acrílicas, me sirvió para darme cuenta de que sí sé combinar colores, para lograr un color parecido o igual al que tengo en mente. En este dibujo me enfrasqué en hacer cada color, me gustó el color de la piel de Patricio Estrella. Conseguí también los tonos para la parte de adentro de la boca de Patricio y el fondo de la ventana donde están situados Bob y Patricio.

And that's it, that's how my two drawings turned out. In spite of the small details it has, I really liked the result. I still have some space left over on the sheet where I drew these two characters, so I hope to make more drawings soon until I fill that sheet. Did you like my drawings? Y listo, así quedaron mis dos dibujos. A pesar de los pequeños detalles que tiene, me encantó mucho el resultado.
