Hello Hivians, it's ivarbjorn. I've missed posting in Hive, but I've been busy hustling in real life. I'm striving harder to give my family a better life, and since I've missed Hive, I've decided to post motivational content here. I hope to inspire other people who are struggling in life right now and remind them that they're not alone. There are people who care and will support them!

Today we are going to talk about Resilience

There are times when you feel so down that can get you thinking, why do I have to go through this hard life even after doing everything you think is right for your future, you gonna question yourself,

am I not good enough? am I a failure? Have I sinned so much that someone punishes me? is this my limitation?

Those thoughts are valid especially when you are in the situation, but always don't lose hope and have the resiliency to always bounce back, as I like to say, when life hits you hard and knocked you down, stand up and return the favor 10 times harder!

It is always important that you have the resiliency to fight back and stand up after every downfall or after facing many obstacles, so let's talk about some resiliency and how you can build it up.

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity, recover from setbacks, and keep going in the face of challenges. It's an important quality to cultivate in life because no matter how well we plan or prepare, there will always be obstacles and setbacks along the way.

So to say, Resilience is not something that we're born with or without. It's a skill that can be developed and strengthened over time.

Here are some of the recommended tips on how you can develop and build this ability;

Focus on what you can control.
  • Many things in life are beyond our control, but there are also many things that we can control. When faced with a difficult situation, focus on what you can do to improve the situation, rather than dwelling on what you can't do.
Stay optimistic.
  • A positive attitude can go a long way in helping us to bounce back from setbacks. Try to see the silver lining in every situation, and focus on the opportunities that are available to you, rather than the obstacles.
Practice self-care.
  • Taking care of yourself is essential for building resilience. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation.

Build a support system.

  • Having people you can rely on for emotional support can help you to get through tough times. Reach out to friends and family members, or consider joining a support group (common in western countries).

Learn from failure.

  • Failure is a natural part of life, and it's important to learn from our mistakes. Rather than beating yourself up over a failure, try to identify what went wrong and what you can do differently in the future.

It really made sense, and I have been practicing some of these things myself, but sometimes, it is just hard to focus and you can easily get out of track especially if the situation is bad. But remember to always get up and start anew and continue fighting and living just like a tree after the storm!

Remember, building resilience takes time and effort, but it's worth it in the end. When we're able to bounce back from setbacks, we become stronger and more capable of handling whatever life throws our way.

So today, focus on building your resilience. Practice self-care, stay optimistic, and reach out for support when you need it. And remember, no matter what happens, you have the strength and resilience to get through it.
