What Are WOLLY MAMMOTH ? Free-Write

Hey Everyone, I hope you are fine and doing great. This is my entry for the Free Write contest run by @mariannewest, today's topic is "Woolly Mammoth". I hope this free write Will be helpful and will enhance your knowledge.

They are an Extinct Species of Elephant that lived during the Pleistocene Epoch. Pleistocene Epoch Refers to the old time which started around 2.6 million years ago and ended about 11,700 years ago. This was the Era of the Ice age and woolly mammoths were one of the most Iconic and very famous animals of that time. They Usually were found living in North America, Asia and Europe.

Nature gifted them with Several Features that allow them to live in Cold environments and helped them to survive in Harsh Conditions.

They were covered in a thick, shaggy fur coat, which helped insulate them from the cold. They also had long, curved tusks, which they used for defence, digging up vegetation, and clearing snow.

The Last Generation of WOLLY MAMMOTHS is believed to have gone Extinct Around 4000 years ago, as they weren't able to cope with climate change also they got vanished due to humans killing them for hunting Purposes. However.

There is ongoing research into the possibility of bringing the woolly mammoth back to life using genetic engineering and other techniques.
