Tim Ho Wan Chinese Restaurant at SM Seaside City Cebu, Philippines

I was in Cebu sometime in 2018 and decided to take a break from home.

I went to SM Seaside City Cebu to unwind and to check out one of the biggest mall in the Philippines.

Tim Ho Wan is a Michelin restaurant originally from Hong Kong. It was really famous that I couldn't help but check it out.

What I Ordered from Tim Ho Wan

I got the Hong Kong Style Milk Tea for PHP 88 or less than $2 and a pork rice bowl which I forgot the price of. It was good. It reminds me of the milk tea I always get whenever I am in Bangkok, Thailand.

I also got this hearty rice bowl with meat on top. It was so delicious I forgot how much was it. I always order this kind of meal.

Vermicelli Roll with BBQ Pork for PHP 198 or less than $4. It was so good, wished I bought more.

I think I spent about $10 at that time. As they say, it was affordable for a Michelin restaurant. I really enjoyed my time there eating alone. While the other tables were filled by families. I would love to splurge but it's good to splurge money on food when you're eating with family. Hehe.

That's just me taking a selfie who enjoyed my quick lunch.

Well, I don't have so much photos because I don't have any reasons to take many. As someone who dined alone, I never wanted to spend my time taking so many photos.

This was an unplanned trip and I was just passing by at SM Seaside to cool down. It was so hot I wanted to stay in a place with an airconditioner.

Has anyone tried Tim Ho Wan in Hong Kong or in Cebu? How was your experience?

For me, it was great. If I have so much money I want to indulge myself by buying many plates of Chinese food.
