The Ginormous Christmas Tree of Galeries Lafayette and the Christmas Windows of Printemps in Paris, France
Hi, Hive friends! I'm back. Merry Christmas everyone! I wasn't active for how many days because we celebrated Christmas in Paris a few days ago. We just got home.
Here's another entry for the #winterchallenge. This time around, let's go to two of the biggest shopping malls in Paris. Not because I have to go shopping but because Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are popular during Christmas.
These two shopping malls are full of luxury so if you're into famous luxury brands, this is for you. Since I am not into luxury I am happy to visit these luxury malls for window shopping.
Les Galeries Lafayette
Funny enough, they have several Christmas window displays so I don't need to do shopping. This is enough for my eyes.
At first, I had no idea what to expect here but several people also visited the place to see the Christmas-themed windows. Parents also brought their kids with them. I was pregnant then so I thought I was excited to bring my kids here in the next few years.
All the displays here were moving and it was so animatedly funny. The kids loved watching the windows.
Just looking at the windows, everything was so luxurious. Different luxury brands sponsor each window as an advertisement.
One designer usually decorates each window so they have different themes every year.
I love this Bottega Veneta display.
Alright, I just checked what the brand is all about. Well, Luxury Bags, OMG, one bag is so expensive. I could not afford it. Hahaha!
I am familiar with Burberry but still, I cannot afford it.
I like the green vibes here.
Christmas Lights on the Streets
Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are just next to each other. Outside the streets of the shopping mall, everything was filled with Christmas lights. It was nice to walk here, stop by, watch the windows, and take many photos.
I enjoyed taking photos here. My husband took photos of the windows. I stayed here for a while because of my big tummy. I got tired of bumping around people.
Of course, it was always traffic in this area. My husband paid two hours of parking.
The Ginormous Christmas Tree of Galeries Lafayette
It was my first time to get inside this luxury shopping mall and I was amazed by its architecture.
Just look at the ceiling. Of course, people came here to take photos of the Christmas tree. It was beautiful.
I just took as many photos as I could. Well, we should take a video.
In the video, you could see many different luxury brands surrounded by the Christmas tree. Part of me felt so awkward to pass by. Hahaha!
Here is my video
Le Printemps
We moved on to the next shopping mall. We checked out the windows of Printemps.
Somehow, I was more entertained by their Christmas displays. They had human marionettes playing different musical instruments.
The marionettes were having a party. Hahaha!
I love how these marionettes were also fashion icons. They were better than me.
I love the winter ski window display.
A family had a camping near the sea but so fashionable.
This is really fun.
Another window was having a party.
Alright, these marionettes can wear better clothes than me. LOL
Of course, let's watch the video...
Would you love to visit these two luxury malls in Paris?
