Cosecha de yucas.

Hello friends, I hope you have been having a good week.

Well I wanted to share with you of a new crop of an item that is almost starchy or has those properties.

Here in Venezuela we call it (Yucca), leave a small comment to before you knew it, or if it has another name in your country, I will appreciate your comment.

This plant is practically a tuber, since the root of the plant is the one that grows under the soil, so that later it becomes what we eat.

Some Yucca plants can grow a little more than 2 meters, this depends on how much the farmer wants the root to grow.

A detail with this plant, is that it has another variety, which we know as (Bitter Yucca), this plant has some components that are toxic to humans, and eating it by mistake, can cause death depending on how much has been consumed.

For now I don't have this plant, the bitter one, so I will not be able to show you the differences between the sweet and the bitter one.

But just to give you an idea, look at how big it can grow roots.

What I like about this plant is that its stem is used for planting again, so it contributes to the environment in one way or another.

Well, in the end, from a single plant I was able to harvest a little more than 4 kg, which I thought was very good, since there are still many more to come and because I will continue planting.

Greetings friends, a hug from a distance.
