The Strange Coffee Lover- Kofei the monster who came to me the christmas day

When I was a child I always wanted to have a small dog as a pet, however, we had no money to keep it and my parents were not willing to make that expense, so in my eagerness to have a pet to which to give affection, I decided one Christmas to ask Santa Claus for my little pet, I wrote a letter and placed cookies and a cup of milk, or so I thought, because in fact I had placed a cup of coffee with milk.

The next day, I got up and went to the Christmas tree with the hope that Santa Claus had brought my little dog, when I arrived I was extremely surprised by what was in front of my eyes, it was not a dog, it was not a cat, nor a mouse, nor a bird. Swimming in the cup of coffee with milk was a small furry being, it looked like a little ball, it had antennas and big eyes, the first thing I thought was that it was a little monster, and I could tell that it loved coffee.

Indeed, this little monster loved coffee. He had drunk almost all of it, and it seemed that the only word he knew how to say was Coffee. I took him in my hands and took him to my room, we quickly became good friends, and without my parents knowing we went every night to the kitchen in search of some coffee, although he enjoyed drinking liquid coffee, he also consumed it in powdered form or ate the beans directly, he was my little monster addicted to coffee. What would have happened if I had not mistakenly placed a cup of milk and not coffee for Santa that night, I would not have my little Kofei, a name I gave him because it was the word he repeated the most.

Years went by and my little monster friend never left my side, he regularly accompanied me to my activities, as he easily fit in my purse or even in my pockets, he always loved to go to funerals, those unfortunate events where it seems that the only thing you can drink is coffee.

When I got my first job in an office Kofei was very happy, first of all for the fact that his friend (me) finally had a job, this little monster was very fond of me, but he was also happy because offices are places where you drink coffee all the time. During my workday Kofei would disappear for hours, and I didn't know his whereabouts, then I would find out that coffee mysteriously used to disappear from kitchen, this caused me amusement and I simply opined publicly that surely a coffee addicted employee was committing theft whenever he could.

Yesterday I found out that my 6 year old niece longs to have a pet, but her parents do not allow it, so today I intend to sit next to her, to reveal my big secret, and give her the indications so that this Christmas, she places a cup of coffee with milk and cookies by the tree to have a great friend that will accompany her for many years, I have already spoken with Kofei, although we do not speak the same language it has understood me, and we had a nice farewell, Kofei has a big heart and knows that there is a girl who needs it more than me.

Thank you very much for your attention, i hope you enjoyed my story

What a tenderness, Kofei is a cute and naughty little thing, our stories have a similarity, although mine is not yet uploaded, I love that Kofei was with you everywhere and his antics in the office, not to mention his love for funerals, how gloomy, hahaha, and I was touched that you told him to go with your niece, because you knew that she needed him more, knowing how to let go is an art of life that not all of us learn. excellent story.

Oh no, I died of tenderness and feeling just imagining that Kofie would abandon his friend of so many years to give love to a little girl. 💖 What a beautiful story Isma, I loved it even more for being at Christmas time. 🎄
