Hola amigos de Hive, vengo de vuelta por la comunidad de Music, para compartir con ustedes un nuevo cover de la de New Metal Korn, que he tocado , como ya lo he dicho antes como parte del repertorio de una banda tributo con la que estoy trabajando, en este oportunidad se trata del tema “Here to Stay”.

Hello friends from Hive, I come back to the Music community, to share with you a new cover of the New Metal band Korn, that I have played, as I said before as part of the repertoire of a tribute band i'm working with, in this opportunity it is the song "Here to Stay".

Here to Stay es parte del álbum Untoachables lanzado en 2002, y tuvo gran receptividad en el momento del lanzamiento, algo en lo que contribuyó su video musical, el cual personalmente veía por MTV en esos años. Según Wikipedia este tema fue nominado a distintos premios musicales y obtuvo un premio en de Mejor video Internacional de MuchMusic en 2002. Y hasta la fecha es considerado uno de los mejores temas de Korn, pues según el Ranking de Loudwire se encuentra en la posición 7 de los 50 mejores temas de Korn.

Here to Stay is part of the album Untoachables released in 2002, and was very well received at the time of its release, which was helped by its music video, which I personally watched on MTV in those years . According to Wikipedia this song was nominated for several music awards and won an award for Best International Video from MuchMusic in 2002. And to date it is considered one of Korn's best songs, as according to Loudwire's ranking it is in position 7 of the 50 best Korn songs.

Acerca de este cover, como de costumbre se toca en La Standard (A), y no es necesario poseer una guitarra 7 cuerdas como las que utiliza la banda, pues la primera cuerda no se utiliza en ningún momento, puedes tocarlo con tu guitarra de 6 cuerdas, nada más asegúrate de tener cuerdas de alto calibre para este tipo de afinaciones.

About this cover, as usual it is played in A Standard, and it is not necessary to have a 7 string guitar like the ones used by the band, because the first string is not used at any time, you can play it with your 6 string guitar, just make sure you have high caliber strings for this kind of tunings.

Me ha encantado tocar este tema, es muy poderoso y no requiere tantos efectos como Delays o Reverb como otras canciones, se puede tocar solo con una distorsión, algo muy conveniente para los que tenemos pocos equipos de efectos de sonido.

I loved playing this track, it's very powerful and doesn't require as many effects like Delays or Reverb as other songs, it can be played with just a distortion, something very convenient for those of us who have little sound effects equipment.
