Hello friends from Hive, this time attending the Deranged Photography Contest, which this time is about flowers, I want to participate in the Amateur category, with some photos I took of a very curious plant, which has small white flowers, some of them in bloom and others about to bloom.

Hola amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad atendiendo al Deranged Photography Contest, que en esta ocasión es sobre flores, quiero hacer mi participación en la categoría Amateur, con unas fotos que tomé de una planta muy curiosa, que posee pequeñas flores blancas, algunas florecidas y otras por florecer.

As far as I could find out this plant is known as Persicaria Pensylvanica and is native to North America but has been introduced in Europe and South America. Here in Venezuela, specifically in the Andes it grows wild. It was in a somewhat arid place that I found it, I was struck by its spikes with small white bulbs that open to show a pretty flower.

Según pude averiguar esta planta se conoce como Persicaria Pensylvanica y es nativa de Norteamérica pero ha sido introducida en Europa y Suramérica. Aquí en Venezuela, específicamente en los Andes crece de manera silvestre. Fue en un paraje un poco árido que la hallé, me llamaron la atención sus espigas de con pequeños bulbos blancos que al abrirse muestran una bonita flor.

This plant attracted many insects in fact in the pictures I have taken you can see in the lower right corner a small insect. I have been able to observe this plant growing in different places, its flowers are very small and pretty, the flowers have a delicate appearance but it is really quite strong.

Esta planta atraía muchos insectos de hecho en las fotografías que he tomado se puede observar en la esquina inferior derecha un pequeño insecto. He podido observar esta planta creciendo en distintos parajes, sus flores son muy pequeñas y bonitas, las flores tienen una apariencia delicada pero realmente es bastante fuerte.

It is always a nice experience to discover new plants and flowers, they come in all sizes, shapes and colors, the world is very interesting and surprises us where we least expect it.

Siempre resulta una bonita experiencia descubrir nuevas plantas y flores, las hay de todos tamaños, formas y colores, el mundo muy interesante que nos sorprende en donde menos esperamos.
