Hello friends from Hive, next I want to share with you some pictures of what I can call a cemetery of tires. I wanted to capture these tires in images since I can say many things about it, at the same time I tried to photograph them in an attractive way as a photographic practice, because only by taking pictures you can improve in this art.

Hola amigos de Hive, a continuación quiero compartir con ustedes unas fotografías de lo que puedo llamar un cementerio de llantas. Quise plasmar estas llantas en imágenes puesto que puedo decir muchas cosas al respecto, al mismo tiempo intenté fotografiarlas de una manera atractiva como práctica fotográfica, pues solo tomando fotografías se puede mejorar en este arte.

The tires you see below belong to my mother's Maverick, a 2-door sports car of the year 72, or at least in that year my mother acquired it from an agency. My mother traveled a lot in this vehicle, she traveled miles and traveled much of the country in those years, they were years of abundance and prosperity for Venezuela, so changing the tires when they were already worn was not expensive at all.

Las llantas que ven a continuación pertenecen al Maverick de mi madre, un automóvil deportivo 2 puertas del año 72, o por lo menos en ese año mi madre lo adquirió de agencia. Mi madre viajó mucho en este vehículo, recorrió kilómetros y recorrió gran parte del país en aquellos años, eran años de abundancia y prosperidad para Venezuela, por lo que cambiar las llantas cuando ya estaban desgastadas no era nada costoso.

But times were changing and the country entered a serious economic crisis from which we still have not been able to get out, and seeing all these tires I find it surprising that today it is so complicated and expensive to buy new ones, and even more so to get the exact size for this vehicle.

Pero los tiempos fueron cambiando y el país entró en una grave crisis económica de la cual aún no hemos podido salir, y al ver todas estas llantas me parece sorprendente que hoy sea tan complicado y costoso comprar unas nuevas, y más aún conseguir la medida exacta para este vehículo.

A year ago with a lot of effort we were able to acquire 2 new tires to be able to start the vehicle, the brand had never heard of it, but they are the ones that are within our reach, it is no longer like in the old days when you could buy tires of the most recognized brands and better quality as Firestone and GoodYear, as you can see practically all these old tires were Firestone, they were the ones that were bought generically, what good times those were.

Hace un año con mucho esfuerzo pudimos adquirir 2 nuevas llantas para poder poner en marcha el vehículo, la marca jamás la había escuchado, pero son las que están a nuestro alcance, ya no es como en los viejos tiempos cuando se podían comprar llantas de las marcas más reconocidas y de mejor calidad como Firestone y GoodYear, como pueden observar prácticamente todas estas llantas antiguas eran Firestone, eran las que se compraban de forma genérica, qué tiempos aquellos.
