Decentralization puts communities in charge of their sovereignty

The SEC having unveils 13 charges against Binance said one of those charges was that Binance were trying to avoid dealing with their regulations and they also diverted customer's funds elsewhere. Even though they said these acts they are getting sued for have been happening right under their noses for years, they did not seem to get enough evidence to pin them on Binance. They seem to think Binance is being used as a money laundering platform and some people are worried, the rest of the centralized platforms will be cracked now.

Now, what this event opens up is the near impossibility for Hive to get mixed up in such cases. This is because over here, you wouldn't find a Changpeng Zhao to sue. Nope. Not one person owes Hive, it's a collective ownership. Every single person who has an accoun and owes even a little bit of stake is an owner. So there wouldn't be a single entity to hold responsible for anything.

It's the reason we have been preaching the decentralized message for so long. When there's someone to hold responsible for this or that in a centralized space, we should be concerned because we wouldn't know if that person will sell us out. But on Hive, there's no selling out, and the Feds coming after us would only be problematic to them.

This is because community governance is a thing here and every user is involved in the decision-making which had cultivated a sense of ownership for so long in this space.
