Becoming a successful entrepreneur in the business world

As entrepreneurs, we tend to jump quickly on any new trends that happen to make our life easier which can lead to more losses than benefits in the long run. Entrepreneurs need to understand that some products may create value for profits for a short period but they can't provide value at scale.

This type of behavior will not just make them lose their sh*t but it will also push away from their audience and ultimately harm their chances of succeeding or earning enough revenue.

Staying relevant and staying profitable

Entrepreneurs need to be able to maintain the balance between staying relevant and staying profitable. They just need to understand that some fads may be entertaining but it's important for them not to get too attached to something which will not last.

It is also important for entrepreneurs to understand that if they are not providing value in the market, it will be extremely difficult for them to build a long-term business.

Focus on the mission

Entrepreneurs who are not focused on their core mission will find it difficult to create long-term value and build a sustainable business. They need to focus on their mission and the core value that they can offer. Most importantly, they have to understand what type of service providers, products, or digital tools would be highly beneficial for the target audience that they are trying to reach and develop a new product that will increase their market share.

Timing is everything

It is just as important for entrepreneurs to understand when it might be time for them to move on from a project or a product. An entrepreneur who is too focused on one niche and becomes stagnant in one area will find it difficult to build a viable business.

Entrepreneurs need to stay flexible because they may find that in the future, they might want to pivot and build something new. On the other hand, if an entrepreneur finds that their business is not moving forward, it might be time for them to try something new with some fresh ideas and concepts to bring about change and attract new clients or customers.

Entrepreneurs need to learn when it is time to move on from a project or business venture to grow and thrive as business owners. In the early stages, they need to keep an open mind and be willing to try out new things. However, it is also important for them not to be too attached or dependent on their company's profits until they have proven that they can provide more value to the market.

Dear my lady @iskafan!
Are you majoring in Finance, Economics and entrepreneurs?

By the way, I have one question!
What social class in Nigeria does a person who earns US$2000 a month belong to?

I found one that was well explained for you.

Lower middle class (individual) at least ₦500,000/ month after taxes. Lower middle class (Household) at least ₦800,000/month after taxes. Upper middle class (individual) at least ₦750,000/month after taxes. Upper middle class (household) at least ₦1,500,000/month after taxes. To put these numbers in context:

Home ownership. The upper class (rich) can pay cash when they want a house. The middle class take a mortgage if they what to buy a house. The lower class do not aspire to own a house

Quality of life. The rich access good healthcare, vacations, education, etc without giving it much thought. The middle class can only afford same with careful planning (or debt). The poor usually only get what is publicly available for free.

Using Lagos and Abuja as reference points, your residential proximity to the Central Business District can help you determine if you fall in upper/lower middle class. Home ownership vis-a-vis years of employment is also another factor. If you spend more than one hour going to work because you can only afford rent in particular areas of town, you are most likely not even in the middle class. Of course, due to the prevalence of extended defendants, there are other factors that could affect one’s quality of life irrespective of income bracket.
