After I grew up and pondered the word, I tried to think simpler and came to a conclusion. Trying new things can be interpreted as trying other foods or dishes that we have never seen or eaten. Great Bear Bowl

A few days ago, I went to Deli Park Mall Medan, one of the biggest malls in my city to accompany my wife shopping. We came at lunch time, and before spending our energy on shopping. We decided to look for food at the Mall food court, there are several food tenants in this food court. However, there is one food tenant that intrigues me, namely the Great Bear Bowl.

Great Bear Bowl is located on Floor 3 A DeliPark Mall Medan, and is one of twenty food tenants at Delica Food Court. Greet Bear Bowl is a food tenant with a hot pot menu which is currently popular and liked by many people in Indonesia.

When it comes to Restaurant or Food Tenant, I am the type of person who likes to ask questions before deciding, I ask how the ordering system is? how to pay and I always ask and make sure the price of the food I buy. This is my first time coming to the Great Bear Bowl and it turns out that many people also come to order food here.

I am very confused with the ordering system at this food tenant. However, the staff explained well and was very easy to understand. As a Food Tenant with a Hot Pot concept, Great Bear Bowl tries to bring a new concept, namely personal hot pot. Customers are free to choose the ingredients used to be served with a variety of delicious soup choices.

There are lots of toppings and fillings that we can choose from for this hot pot dish, such as chicken eggs, quail eggs, various fish, shrimp, shellfish, chicken meat, beef, fish balls with various variants, crab sticks, sausages, vegetables, mushrooms. , various types of noodles and many others that I can not mention one by one.

I did not miss this unique opportunity, by taking some toppings or fillings for my meal this time, of course I took a lot of noodles and fish balls. After that I immediately paid for what I took, each topping has a different price, I paid around IDR 90K (or 6 USD). Next, all the toppings or fillings that we choose will be boiled with the two choices of sauce we want. Choice of soup such as Baby Collagen Bone Broth or Ma Lang Tang with different flavors. I chose to try the signature Ma Lang Tang.

Ma Lang Tang

After paying for my order, I waited for my order at the table and was provided with a remote that would ring when my order was finished cooking. It can be said that the Great Bear Bowl has a self-service concept. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be processed. My order was served with a very large bowl, I also didn't expect the toppings I took to make it look so full. I asked for two small bowls to make it easier for me and my wife to eat.

Like a hot pot dish, my order came with a very hot sauce. I immediately tried it, the signature broth of Ma Lang Tang has a unique taste. The broth is reddish in color with coarsely ground black pepper seeds. According to the info I read on the menu board. Ma Lang Tang broth is made using more than 24 spices such as ginger, pepper, chili, cloves etc. with a strong oriental flavor. This is the first time my tongue has tasted this kind of taste and it seems to suit local Indonesian tongues.

Spicy and savory are the two flavors that dominate Ma Lang Tang. But, you don't need to worry, the spiciness is still okay and we can bea comfortable sipping the gravy. All my toppings and fillings such as noodles, vegetables, fish balls, crab sticks, and tofu skins were cooked to the right level of doneness so they were delicious when eaten. I also added a little bit of meat to complete this dish.

Eat something spicy, don't forget to prepare a cold drink.

I really enjoyed my new experience of food at this Great Bear Bowl. Hot Pot served with self service with spicy Ma Lang Tang sauce made a special impression for me. I love this delicious taste and I can control how much it costs me to eat it. Looks like, I will come again to this place.
