Interior Design and Architecture from PappaRich Restaurant

How are you today ? I hope and pray, we are all always given health and also happiness in living this life. I am very happy to finally be given the time and opportunity to be able to participate again in the Architecture+Design Community and share stories about my impressions and experiences of design and architecture from the places I visited. So, what will I discuss this time? keep watching my post this time.

Last week, I went to get my passport renewed. I have to go to the immigration office to take care of it. I registered for the queue online and got the schedule at 9-11 Monday morning at the Kualanamo Airport Immigration Office. The location of the immigration office is quite far from where I live, about 90 minutes of travel, and sometimes it can get very congested. Finally, I left from 6 in the morning. Whether unlucky or lucky, the road situation that morning was very quiet and smooth, I almost arrived at the immigration office around half past eight that morning.

Because I didn't want to wait too long, I decided to find a place to wait like a cafe or coffee shop around that area. I entered a spot area consisting of hotels, cafes, restaurants, but that morning there were only three or four booths open. After walking around and looking I decided to visit Pappaarich Restaurant.

PappaRich Restaurant
I saw KFC Fast Food, D'Raja Coffee, Spot Coffee and Papparich Restaurant which were already open that morning. So, why did I choose to come there? of course, apart from considering the food and drinks available there. I also see that PappaRich Restaurant has an interesting style of interior design and architectural design for me to discuss.

PappaRich Restaurant is located in one part of The Crew Hotel building on the west side of the ground floor of this building. From the front, you can see that this restaurant is very fancy, minimalistic and also feels luxurious. However, we still find it affordable for medium finances like me. I'm hard to describe, but you must have seen a restaurant with a fancy and fancy design, then you immediately assumed that the menu at that restaurant must be expensive.

This restaurant building, still using the original building. However, we can see design and architectural changes on the front. PappaRich Restaurant makes the front area a semi-outdoor smoking area. One thing that is interesting is to see the semicircular green canopy that is designed to be the roof in that area.

If you pay attention, on the front we will also see the logo of this restaurant. In my opinion, the logo is very unique, namely the silhouette of an old man holding a coffee cup and the word “PappaRich”. The logo of a product or restaurant is very important as an identity, because visitors can recognize a restaurant from afar by just looking at the logo design.

Interior Design PappaRich

The building from PappaRich uses thick glass as the walls. We will see it from the entrance to the perimeter of this area. A transparent glass wall like this is perfect for a cafe or restaurant which is on the ground floor with minimal access to sunlight. Therefore, even though PappaRich Restaurant uses glass walls, the building area will not be dazzled but instead gives a positive impression from the outside.

Enter PappaRich Restaurant, we will see a very beautiful restaurant. The minimalist and fancy design style makes all the spaces in this restaurant very comfortable and cozy. Moreover, the color combinations used such as Tosca green, wooden, and white really make this restaurant beautiful. Several caricature paintings also make this restaurant feel very fancy.

We can see from the furniture used by PappaRich Restaurant that it really supports the atmosphere of this café. PappaRich Restaurant uses seats like long benches with seat covers and backrests made of sofas. This seating will be combined with a 4-6 seater wooden table. The chairs used by PappaRich Restaurant are also very beautiful, one chair made of wood combined with rattan.

Every arrangement of tables and chairs is made very comfortable for visitors. Seeing the interior of PappaRich Restaurant, I feel that this restaurant can be enjoyed by all ages from children, teenagers, adults to the elderly. Teenagers who come won't feel old-skull here, and parents won't find this restaurant too young to feel either. I think, a good choice of interior design and architecture for business.

Open Bar

If you pay attention, on the side you will see an open kitchen / open bar from PappaRich Restaurant. I feel, this area also gets a very nice touch of interior design. I like to see the hanging wardrobe design that is mounted on the top. While I don't see what it's used for, I still feel it's very pretty and fits this restaurant.

Chandelier Decoration
PappaRich Restaurant is on the ground floor, therefore the roof is of course a concrete structure. To reduce the monotonous impression of this building, PappaRich Restaurant uses several chandeliers on display in this café. There are two models of chandeliers used.

In the front area, every seat in this restaurant is given an additional interior, namely a pole with a European-style chandelier. The decoration of the pillars and lights really beautifies the area of this restaurant. I often see pole ornaments like this in western restaurants that I have visited in my city.

The second chandelier is in the VIP area, the chandelier has a unique model with a futuristic style. When we see it, we can feel an exclusive impression and make it different from other places.

I also feel at home to be in this place, waiting for about 2 hours before I go to the immigration office. That's all my post this time, see you next time.
