Hello everyone! Hoy les quiero mostrar una de mis pasiones; dibujar! Aunque no lo hago a menudo, de vez en cuanto tengo atacazos donde las ideas surgen y tengo que escribirlas en papel para luego plasmarlas en dibujo y que no se me escapen 😆

Today I want to show you one of my passions; drawing! Although I don't do it often, from time to time I have attacks where ideas come up and I have to write them on paper and then capture them in drawing so they don't escape me 😆.

Y esta idea que les voy a mostrar surgió en el 2012, como un proyecto en una página que se llamaba You, Me and Charlie, era un sitio para compartir ideas, arte, creatividad y conseguir inspiración (actualmente la página no existe). El proyecto consistía en un desafío creativo: Arte, antes y ahora. Y fue allí donde las ideas empezaron a surgir. Recuerdo que puse música, me encerré en mi habitación y todo comenzó. Tomé un papel bond lo arrugué y lo pegué detrás de mi puerta, y comencé a plasmar todo eso que me inspiraba, que me gustaba, que soñaba. Entre frases, pequeños dibujos y colores todo fue tomando forma. Gran parte de ello lo hice en un día, pero luego cada vez que tenía una idea iba y allí la dejaba. Era algo que crecía con el tiempo.

And this idea that I'm going to show you came up in 2012, as a project on a page called You, Me and Charlie, it was a site to share ideas, art, creativity and get inspiration (currently the page does not exist). The project consisted of a creative challenge: Art, then and now. And that's where the ideas started to come. I remember I put on some music, locked myself in my room and it all started.
I took a piece of bond paper, crumpled it up and stuck it behind my door, and I began to capture everything that inspired me, that I liked, that I dreamed of. Between phrases, small drawings and colors everything took shape. I did most of it in one day, but then every time I had an idea I would go and leave it there. It was something that grew with time.

Y sí, poco a poco la inspiración se iba yendo y cada vez iba colocando menos cosas. Me ocupaba en la universidad y en otros aspectos de mi vida, hasta que un día ya no surgía nada, supongo que la etapa de ese "arte" había llegado hasta allí, de igual forma me encantaba lo que había creado y como se veía.
Cabe destacar que ese dibujo está en mi habitación de mi casa materna (en Michelena, el pueblo donde vivía). Y actualmente se ve así:

I was busy at the university and in other aspects of my life, until one day nothing came up, I guess that the stage of that "art" had reached that point, anyway I loved what I had created and how it looked.

It is worth mentioning that this drawing is in my room in my mother's house (in Michelena, the town where I lived). And it currently looks like this:

En el año 2017, me mudé a San Cristóbal (ciudad donde vivo actualmente), en ese entonces no me sentía para nada inspirada, no había vuelto a dibujar, extrañaba esa parte de mí pero no encontraba como animarme e inspirarme. Básicamente solo me dedicaba al trabajo, todos mis amigos se habían ido del país y todo se sentía un poco desolado. Tiempo después, conocí a @stephytdh y tuvimos una conexión prácticamente inmediata. Un día le comenté sobre aquel "desafío creativo: Arte, antes y ahora", y me dijo que por qué no lo hacía de nuevo, con gustos actuales y nuevos sueños, mi respuesta fue que no me sentía inspirada. Y al día siguiente se aparece @stephytdh en mi puesto de trabajo (en ese entonces trabajábamos en el mismo sitio), con una lámina de papel bond y muchos marcadores, diciendo: "toma, ya sabes para que es" y eso fue como un estallido de ideas en mí, pensaba en tantas cosas a la vez que las escribía para que no se me fueran a olvidar. Y a continuación les muestro mi creación y como fue tomando color poco a poco.

In 2017, I moved to San Cristobal (city where I currently live), at that time I didn't feel inspired at all, I hadn't returned to drawing, I missed that part of me but I couldn't find how to encourage and inspire me. Basically I was only dedicated to work, all my friends had left the country and everything felt a bit desolate.
Some time later, I met @stephytdh and we had an almost immediate connection. One day I told him about that "creative challenge: Art, then and now", and he told me why I didn't do it again, with current tastes and new dreams, my answer was that I didn't feel inspired.
And the next day @stephytdh showed up at my work place (at that time we worked in the same place), with a sheet of bond paper and many markers, saying: "here, you know what it's for" and that was like a burst of ideas in me, I thought of so many things at the same time that I wrote them down so I wouldn't forget them. And now I show you my creation and how it was taking color little by little.

Increiblee. Es maravilloso como cualquier cosa nos puede inspirar. Solo hay que dejar que nuestra mente viaje, se distraiga un poco y de esa manera todas las ideas fluyen. Me gustó mucho tu post!
