The worrying cigarette breath in a kiss

Greetings everyone, Happy weekend, I join the WEEKEND-ENGAGEMENT Initiative to respond to one of the proposed topics, trying to be as honest as possible with my response, I hope you enjoy it 😁 I invite @ismaelgranados to participate

You're about to kiss a person deeply for the first time, but their breath smells strongly of either raw onions, garlic, or cigarette smoke. Which would you choose and what's your reasoning behind it.

Kissing a person is an act of great intimacy, for me kisses are even more relevant than the sexual act itself, because it is a direct encounter with the soul of that person, it reflects their personality in a single moment, you can tell if they are nervous, if he is a sweet person, aggressive or even if he is sincere, if he kisses hastily in order to get to something more or if he does it naturally and spontaneously. But you also have to take into account the moment of the kiss, the place, the time and the whole context, knowing that not all kisses are like in the movies and that in the end we are having contact with another human being, who breathes, sweats and He eats like any human being, so for logical reasons he will also have breath, which can be pleasant or unpleasant breath, so before answering which bad breath option would be the least bad, I would like to clarify that I do not intend to judge anyone, that is to say, anyone could have bad breath according to the circumstances that I explained before, even me, because I love to eat onions and food seasoned with garlic, so if a person kissed me immediately after eating my lunch, surely I would be the one with bad breath 😅

Obviously I would prefer onion or garlic breath, but the breath that I would not like to find in someone is cigarette breath, because this is the result of a bad habit, this habit is not only harmful to the health of the smoker but also for the people who surround him, if I really like the person or if at some point I would like to imagine a future with that person, I imagine how his health and mine would be at risk due to a habit like cigarettes, I must also say that I suffer from allergic rhinitis, so the smell of smoke is one of the triggers for my allergic crises, so possibly if a person with cigarette breath approaches my face to kiss me, I would end up sneezing in their face 🤭 I really hope That will never happen but it is within the possibilities.

The breath caused by some food such as onion and garlic could disappear if the person brushes his teeth, or if it has been a long time since he ate those foods, but the problem with cigarette breath is that it is a recurring problem. , because a smoker normally smokes several times a day, which does not allow the breath from cigarette smoke to disappear completely, if I were to like that person for a relationship I would worry a lot about their health, also I think that if I arrive to sneeze in his face I would not like it at all 🤣

Missing someone who smokes isn't pleasant; I've only done it a couple times and on each occasion it was not enjoyable. It won't happen again.

I think you've summed it up pretty well in your post, thanks for taking the time.

It is indeed. You know, a packet of cigarette's in Australia is between $45 and $55 Australian dollars. You can work that out in your own currency, but it's a lot! And still people insist on smoking. it's weird, especially since it's killing them and ruining the environment too. Humans are selfish.

omg I could eat a week with that money. It's shocking what an addiction can do to a person 😱

Yep, I thought as much. It's insane. I know people who smoke 5-6 packets a week. I have no clue how they afford it.

I loved all the justification you gave to this situation, analyzing each smell I would also choose the one of the food, especially garlic, I think I tolerate it more.

I can't imagine sneezing in someone's face after kissing, but thinking about it, it's weird that it has never happened to me since I also suffer from allergic rhinitis.

Smoking is the worst of all and because of this habit I have not initiated relationships in the past.

Cigarette smoke is definitely a very unpleasant smell and also the smell stays in the hair and clothes, it is not only the breath 😬

You are right sister, the kiss is very beautiful and I totally agree with you that the smell of cigarette smoke is very disturbing, I don't like smoking because it can harm my own health and those around me.

The saddest thing is that, it not only hurts the person who smokes but also the people around him, it is a very harmful habit.

I agree with you @irenenavarroart. Among all of the unpleasant smells, cigarettes are the smell I can't tolerate. I met a person who's a smoker and even after showering and brushing his teeth, the smell didn't go off. I guess the nicotine is already on their blood and sweat ✌️.

I understand that for the lungs of a smoking person to be completely clean again, they must spend a long time without smoking, I imagine that the body continues to manifest the smell, alcohol is the same, there are people with hangovers who continue to sweat with the smell of alcohol and it's nasty 😕

You’ve said it all @irenenavarroart

I can’t even stand it, I’d probably puke in their face because I get easily irritated.

Good job
